Dumb comparison. QB doesn't take nearly the athleticism of basketball, and Adams isn't nearly as old as either of those were by 2014.

how are you sure about that? His wife loves Trump, sure, and he's evangelical Baptist, but he's also half-black and in 2020 he wrote that he was simping for George Floyd.
He said he wasn't endorsing either candidate and wasn't telling people who he's voting for. We know Taylor and the Kelce bros are libs who love Kamala. We know Buttkicker is a MAGA evangelical. But we don't know and won't know about Mahomes himself. He identifies as a moderate.

Worthy will be fine, got the wind knocked out of him on that tackle. Definitely not a leg or head injury.
Meanwhile, Kareem Hunt is building a strong case for Comeback Player of the Year. Also best free agent acquisition. It was as much of a no-brainer as Adams going to the Jets. The Chiefs were stupid getting rid of him in late 2018 in the first place. And then trying to use little scatback Damien Williams in his place who was a solid receiving back but couldn't convert short yardage and that's why they lost to the Patriots in the championship game that year.
If Hunt was on the Chiefs in 2018 for the playoffs, Brady is light one ring and Mahomes has one more, but c'est la vie.
Hunt is absolutely carrying this otherwise average offense these past 3 games for KC.
Lightskin Brett Favre now leads the league in interceptions :lmao
Jordan Love? I wouldn't doubt it, that's a pretty fair comparison. But he's clutch.

Those are the plays that only Mahomes can pull that are key in all these wins but then go unnoticed when looking at the stat sheet at the end of the game. When the Chiefs really need to have it, Mahomes come through way more times than not.

I don't know why Carson Steele is still the Chiefs' #2 halfback. He isn't cut out to be a traditional NFL running back at all. Not super fast or athletic, not wiggly or quick at all, only gets what's blocked. I think he can have a long career if he beefs up and becomes sort of a multi purpose fullback. He shouldn't be getting more than one or two handoffs per game and certainly not in an ace-back set. Samaje Perine should be getting those RB2 carries and more of them, he's always been solid as an RB2 in the NFL.
If Reid continues to go with giving too many handoffs to Steele they will start losing games. Also, need to take some wear off Hunt. 22 carries per game is too much. Perine needs more touches and Steele isn't an answer.

Jesus Christ Purdy
Purdy needs to run more. Look at Mahomes, all the signature plays in his career are with his legs
But Shanahan also takes blame. Crunch time at the goal line and our QB is throwing with a defender in his face again. Puni is a nice start.

I think his Legs are underrated, and he's sneaky knowing no defender will dare touch him while he's tip toeing along the sidelines.
From within the pocket I don't think he's asked to do much. It's mostly check downs and lateral passes [I want Kyle to return to this Jimmy attack] to open weapons. Then in crunch time he uses his Legs to convert difficult 3rd Downs. There is almost never a defender in his face. Arguably greatest offensive line ever - I think 17 quarters without a Hold versus 49ers. In comparison SF49 had atleast 2 in just this game. That falls on Kyle not upgrading the OL

Good for a LoL watching Taylor Kelce hold the db 100% while Patty ran it in after he and #6 met at the goaline and #6 fell down like a scrawny koriwhat.
Taylor didn't need to hold as Patty was going to score anyways, but ChiefsRef doubled down and called defensive holding on #27 just make sure. :rollin

Chiefs tackles are pretty shaky, Mahomes has had to run for his life quite a bit this season. He just has other worldly awareness and elusivity.
Either way, I wasn't talking about the scrambles in that comment. I was talking about a 3rd down conversion on the 4th quarter which pretty much sealed the deal. He had to move up the pocket to avoid the sack and he completed a pass to his tight end while falling down. Every other QB there gets sacked there and it's game on. That's the difference with Mahomes.

Mason's biggest run of the game came after an obscene holding from Trent Williams on Chris Jones. Mahomes got choked by a Niners D-line and nobody called anything. Infractions get missed during NFL games, deal with it, tbh.

Excellent play calling by Tampa Bay to start the game + Baker was delivering.
The dropped TD pass was a huge momentum swing.
Baker then with the horrible INTs.
LJackson doing his usual thing.
ChiefsRef burned him out of a running TD.
Turned right around and threw a TD the next play.

The Steelers are arguably the least talented team in the AFC, but I swear they have the luck of the fucking Irish or something. They play well above their talent almost every game. I'd be shocked if the Ravens were to sweep them this year.

Nah. Tennessee, Jacksonville, Cleveland, Oakland, New England and Miami are by far all worse, and you can make a case for a couple more teams (Indy, San Diego) too.
