Whoa that was fast

Let the Race begin. Repeat Champs especially in the NL are almost non-existent. GMs are foaming at the mouth after seeing the WS unfold.

Doyers prolly win the next three or four WS tbh.

WS Champions from the NL that returned to the big dance the following season

2009 Phillies - Lost
1996 Braves - Lost
1976 Reds - Repeat

Braves are due for a deep run. Last time LAD won we knocked them off their crown.

It's better. Keep his ego in check and no contract incentives

IMO Soto is over priced

He's a HOF and his plate discipline ensures he will age well but right now still just a #2 for Franchise. His ego is fragile and he is kinda scared of the big moment, compared to for example Acuna that will shoulder the win or loss with swing. Soto will draw walk forcing teammate to be hero

Doyers bout to be the Harlem Globetrotters tbh. Just waiting for the Soto and Sasaki signing to land.

What a NL West mercenary :lol

Spending money after a Championship, unheard of concept these days

Can't blame him for following the money, but I'm getting tired of "deferred money" tbh. Especially when we all know the Doyers won't end up paying a single cent of it.

After WS Braves let their best player walk because he might be expensive in Year 6. Now we have deferred.

I still believe in Baseball and the Braves way, again.

Braves podcast - projection sites are reporting SP deals have been 15% above their predictions

Then you look at Braves Reynaldo Lopez - 8M season. How over priced the Market is, the deal might be at former SP moved to RP.

When do the Jankees finally rule thru and declare '24 a success because they resigned Hungry Soto

So much for that, 15 years $765 million to the Mets.

The Mets on Sunday agreed to sign Juan Soto to a 15-year, $765 million contract

Soto joins a Mets team that technically had more wins against eventual Champion LAD than Yankees did

Baseball is dead tbh.

The (pitch clock) granted them a temporary stay of execution. The automated strike zone would grant them another stay if they're wise enough to permit it in.
