Understand that 2nd best player Vassell is out, but these losses are still disappointing.

Wemby has not take the leap that everyone is expecting...CP3 is supposed to be the best leader in the league, but don't forget that he somehow also carry some form of "bad luck" with him and he is not a born winner (like Manu).

But well..at least we still have hope to get Flagg.

7 games in. Spurs is 12th out of 15 in the west. Hawks is 9th out of 15 in the east.

Spurs' own pick might have higher odds to win the lottery than the Hawks' pick

It’s probably a bit early. I mean, a couple of days ago, both picks were outside the lottery.

Also, standings in the conference don’t matter for overall lottery positions. We’re 12th in the West, they’re 9th in the East, but they have a worse overall record, so their pick is better right now.
