Bad loss for a bad team. These new rotations are just bad. Go back to Vassell & Sochan on the bench

Whoops, looks like you just beat me to the punch.

My thoughts: Overall, competitive game and a sign this team is trending in the right direction. The Timberwolves are a good team playing solid basketball right now, so to take them to the wire and have a shot to beat them at the buzzer is a moral victory.

That said, really wish this team would stop finding ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Wemby has played the entire 4th quarter a few games in a row now. I don't remember this happening much if at all last season. Yes, he's been gassed at the end of games, but I expect this to pay dividends for his conditioning as the season goes on.

Damn, Castle with an F - I don’t think I have ever seen a Spurs player with that low of a score

TimGPT doesn't even comment on Mitch having Sochan in the game instead of Champ on the closing possession. More training needed.

Thought it took Johnson way too long to get CP3 back in the game when the offense was imploding in the 2nd. There's still too many stretches every game where we play like a 20 win team.

yeah, but tbh im still more pissed at sochan's decision to shoot instead of the easy "extra" pass to harrison barnes 5 feet away

I can't agree there. Donte made a championship level play, closing out the passing lane instead of the shooter, knowing that it was Sochan. That's a simple, yet next level IQ move that our guys don't seem to make yet. Jeremy probably had time to hold off on the pass and then get it to Barnes, but it would have been tight time wise and I can't fault Jeremy for thinking that slight hesitation was enough to mean he needed to put the shot up. IMO, Jeremy made the right decisions there he was just the wrong guy to be put in that spot.
