Man, Keldon and Vassell have just been depressing this year. In the offseason I was optimistic Vassell was a steal of a contract and a clear long term piece, and had hopes that Keldon would look a lot more comfortable in a smaller role as a key role player. At this point I really wouldn’t be sad at all to move on from either/both of them.

Of course we do. Outside of CP3, Barnes, and Castle, this is the same team that was bad enough to get us Victor in the first place. You don't consistently win with the same team you tank with :lol

Most of the teams we play...Victor is the best player, but then for players 2 - 4 to 5 to 6, those players are clearly on the other team. I can't think of any coach in the league who is going to get consistent good play having to pick between Tre, Wesley, or Branhim to play at a backup guard spot. All 3 are bad, and the team won't make any real serious improvement until all 3 are gone.

They rely so much on the three-point shooting and yet they still can’t figure out that they are not a three-point shooting team. They lacked so much physicality against their opponents and are very passive when their opponents are far more physical. I really do feel bad for Chris Paul as he is trying his hardest to get the players involved, but they just cannot finish. From my highly limited perspective, there are a ton of problems. One seems to be that Mitch is coming off like the nice guy coach of a youth league team.
He seems like it's all mental and lacks the fire and toughness that seasoned NBA coaches tend to exhibit. It's not his fault, really. Just who he is.
This team needs someone above CP3 in the pecking order to help players get real about the expectations and consequences of their play.
