to be fair, Trump got millions more votes in 2024 than he did in 2020 and even with J6-2021 in between, and the opposition got about 5-6M less votes than Biden in 2020, which happened before J6-2021.

So either J6-2021 was an inside job or the 2020 election was rigged with millions of fake votes, my money is on both.

Back in 2016, honestly. I felt like the masses would have been satisfied with a President Rubio, tbh. Most people didn't really like Hillary and you'd get some crossover moderate dems who can't stand hillary to vote for the easily less mercurial and younger candidate with very solid experience, plus the Hispanic vote. Liked Ben Carson but like Herman Cain before him, he had no chance. I wish Ted Cruz didn't run because he kind of cannibalized Rubio's vote share and coalition against Trump in the primary. Then you had dumbfuck egomaniacs like Kasich/Christie who never had any chance.

“The very act of compiling lists of persons who worked on matters that upset Donald Trump is retaliatory in nature, intended to intimidate FBI agents and other personnel, and to discourage them from reporting any future malfeasance and by Donald Trump and his agents,” the lawsuit alleges.

“Do NOT resign or offer to resign,” the FBI Agents Association told members in an email obtained by CNN. “While we would never advocate for physical non-compliance, you need to be clear your removal is not voluntary.”https://www.cnn.com/2025/02/04/politics/fbi-employees-tuesday/index.html

Be very specific.I got the figure wrong, but the point stands: given the growth in the population, Trump's level of support remained about the same -- millions more became eligible to vote since 2020. I didn't mention Harris in my post.

There were reportedly 38 million more registered voters in 2024 as compared to 2020

The overall population of the US increased by an estimated 9 million people between 2020 and 2024, I've seen a figure out there that about 8 million people who weren't old enough to vote in 2022 "and millions more since 2020 (https://circle.tufts.edu/latest-research/overall-youth-turnout-down-2020-strong-battleground-states) " became eligible to vote in 2024.

My bad on the bad raw vote total, but millions more votes for Trump mainly signifies US population growth, not that Trump became more popular, or that people were voting for the truly destructive and insane shit y'all are doing now.

Winehole23
02-06-2025, 08:05 AM
in absolute terms, 3 million more voted in 2020 than 2024

Trump's level of support kept up with the increase in voters

Yup, all thanks to Biden's shitty pro immigrant policy...

If we do away with immigration we'll be more like European countries and stop having runaway population growth, housing shortages and inflation.

However..... all that being said.... presidential vote turnout was DOWN in 2024 compared to 2020.

Suggests covid-excused cheating in 2020.

Biden voters couldn't get off the couch for Harris
More like, they couldn't cheat and use covid-era excuses to stuff the ballot boxes, flood the black nursing homes in Atlanta and other big black cities in swing states with mailers and "emotional support" in exchange to go vote, shit like that.

I copped to the bad figure, but my point stands -- relative to the size of the electorate, Trump's level of support remained roughly the same from 2020-2024
Untrue. Trump in 2020 got some extra votes from cheating and thanks to covid-era policy and social norms, but Biden still got, by far, the lion's share.

Face the music. Trump in 2024 was historic. Accept it. Embrace the bitter truth, and welcome it into your heart. :toast

Just spitballing here...wait...I'm actually basing my information on the words of a DOJ Official:

Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove addressed concerns regarding potential repercussions for FBI personnel involved in these probes. In a memo, Bove clarified that no FBI employee who "simply followed orders and carried out their duties in an ethical manner with respect to January 6 investigations" is at risk of termination or other penalties. He emphasized that only individuals who acted with "corrupt or partisan intent" or who "blatantly defied orders from Department leadership" should be concerned about the review process..
