He was really nice. I wanted to ask him more about the deals he made and will make this offseason but didn't want to take him away from evaluating our guys.

Did you also see Astronaut/Senator Mark Kelly?

Looked like he was having a great time in courtside seats next to the Spurs bench (oohing and ahhing the Wemby show).

I wouldn't have recognized him if I saw him but that's cool he was there. Just an American icon. FWIW, it was French Heritage Night... not sure if they purposely planned it for when Wemby was here (most likely).

Thanks for posting the pictures. Looks like you had a good time at the game.

It was a great game! One of the better fan experiences I could remember. Got to see a little bit of everything Wemby going off in the 1st quarter, Castle throwing down a few dunks, the Wizards rookies (they currently have 3) running up and down the court, got to touch the game ball, and of course meeting GM Brian Wright. What a night!

One of my friends sat next to RC at a game in like 2010 or 2011 and asked why Splitter wasn't playing in the prime Turd Towers era and supposedly RC gave this frustrated look while looking over towards Pop. :lol

Yeah I was at the Wizards game as well and saw him there. Definitely was a bit frustrated that the Spurs didn't play better defense vs the Wizards. Should have been a blowout. Feel like some of it was due to a CP issue with those young up and comers. I almost thought he would be done for the game w/that bandage on his hand, but he still kept playing his normal minutes.

I also saw Wright the day before at the UMD vs Rutgers game.
