Thanks for posting this one Timvp. This is one of the only games this season I didn't watch. I actually really expected a win, and looking at the box score, not sure what went wrong. I'm guessing defense when I see how many points a lot of the Dallas players scored.
I hope Mitch got a D for this one.

Well, rightly calling this "one of the most disheartening losses of the season" and then mostly handing out Cs and only two D+s seems a bit contradictory to me. Given all the injuries on both teams, Fox should have been the best player on the court, but instead he was anonymous at best. Really disappointing game from him.
Mitch getting a C- is also clearly too high for me - unless you want to give him credit for a stealth tanking job.

Kessler Edwards scored a third of his points this year, do you really need more?

This game really has bought bad coaching to the forefront for me. I'm even starting to worry about the development of players on this team. Some of them are capable of being really good or even possibly great, but the Spurs' coaching and development staff is making me wonder if they'll retard their progress, and that they won't come close to maxing out their potential like the Spurs' coaching/development team used to do. This is something I never even used to think about, but it's very real that the Spurs development and coaching has gone down the toilet the past few years with all the personnel they've lost. Chip was pretty much the last big loss and they've bottomed out since then.

You know what's worse, never even heard of the guy (at least, I don't remember him) ;).
As I said in the Game Thread, there was no way to lose this game and it not be considered an embarrassment given the Mavs' circumstance. But, a loss is still a loss and wins don't really help us right now.
Let's do it again Wednesday.

I agree, but also, the coaching is just as bad as the roster.

Chris Paul is a carbunkle on this team, which is the ass of the NBA. He's the perfect statpadding weapon for the tank.
Spurs need to get Fox his surgery now.
optimist version-the Bulls jumped ahead of the Spurs, placing SA at the 8th spot for now.

If Fox can't dominate in a game like this then you may as well get his surgery now and hope he's a better player next year with a healthy hand.

I’m 99% sure it happens next week in LA. I think they’ve made the decision already, but don’t want to spike single home game ticket sales before by announcing it.
