Disagree on Castle outside his first stint. His shot selection was fine and he was one of the few that showed a pulse on defense alongside Sochan and Biyombo tbh.

You have a c grade on a 19 year old that scored 26 points on efficient shooting . Lmao come on man .

That's the only D Mitch gets, because there was none on the floor.

I watched it unfortunately. What is the NBA record for threes in a half and game? Did the Hornets come close to it?
When one of the worst teams in the NBA have an almost record breaking night against you, that should tell you how bad you are. Spurs have won too many games with a roster this bad. Victor really did up the level of these guys and they're showing how bad they are without him.
Also, Steph may be scoring some decent point totals (which is still good and I'm happy to see), but I don't feel he's playing as well as he was up until the all-star break. His all around game is lacking compared to before then.

The silver lining on this is the Spurs caught the Trailblazers and now sitting at 8th in the loss column.

Vassell put up a team-high 14 points on the board in the first half to keep the Spurs from being totally embarrassed by halftime
Allowing 81 points and being down almost 30 at the half isn't totally embarrassing?? :lmao

They should all get A's for embracing the tank. If they don't win another game this season, I'd be happy.

My guess is that the players saw the memo that said the tank is on, and that they did their best to comply. Hopefully they get a better draft pick because of this.

I guess it could be worse OK sat their whole entire starting team and yet still managed to beat Portland by 18 points.

It's a good thing Vassell kept us from being totally embarassed by halftime (Narrator: we were down by 26 at halftime)

Players don’t tank - front offices’ do. Anyone drafted or had a roster spot before Victor arrived should be moved. Front office has 3-4 years of evidence showing who these guys are. Time to believe it.

The problem with Keldon and Devin is they show just enough flashes to be valuable...even though I think their best value is probably role player. Devin plays like he is believes he is a starter, but good Devin only shows up like once a week.
Guys like Branham, Wesley, etc...just cut the fucking cord already

There is a very real chance their last win of the season already happened tbh.

I’m hoping these games reveal to the FO that most of this roster is borderline 12th man. We’ve seen enough from most of these guys to know they’re just not it.

I'm ok with Wesley, he has defense and drive, he can end up being a reasonably valuable bench player.... Get him shooting catch and shoot 3s reasonably and he is an undersized guard with 3 and D abilities that has ok but not great handles, that as a 10th man is worth keeping on any roster unless you have someone demonstrably better for the sot. at 22 y/o he has about 3 more years to figure out the shooting.

I don't think Wesley will ever be able to shoot.
