I gotta start watching games again to get the tank back on track tbh.

I think the tank will be self evident after this. The only game we probably win for the rest of the year is the Toronto encore.

We can probably win against pistons especially if cunningham is out still.

yep. I can easily see an 11 game losing streak happening.

Everyone gets an F for messing with the tank.

Interesting point about Bismack playing more minutes that Jeremy. Shouldn't really be happening. Stuff like that makes Mitch seem a little inept.
I wish I could find that article a read a few weeks ago as some of his former college teammates used to call him the "The Maestro." He seems pretty highly regarded by ex-teammates and people he's coached/played with.
Also just read that the Spurs tried to lure Nico Harrison at least three separate times before he took the Mavericks job. Darn.

Even if we loose 11 games straight we probably only move to 8 or 9 in this draft - Teams are tanking hard so pretty much the top 7 are ingrained in stone as teams will fight/tank to keep there current standings

#10 13.9% top4 - 3% lotto winner
#8. 26.3% top4 - 6% lotto winner
Those two spots make a HUGE difference in the odds. We have the schedule advantage over Miami, who still has 3 games against bottom 4 teams, and 2 more with hard tanking Philly. We only have one game in that category, game #81, the rematch with Toronto. Chicago seems to be actually playing for wins, and home court in the 9/10 play in game.

Sochan does not know how to play basketball. He is not reading what’s going on out on the court correctly. I’m not joking.
There was this play where he just dribbled awkwardly into the paint with nowhere to go - proceeds to pass the ball to Castle who looks equally confused by what Sochan’s doing. He put Castle in an awkward position with the ball.
Coaching staff calls quick time out and benches Sochan. Biyombo is making the correct reads and he talks on defense/offense. Gets guys to there spots. I think they want Castle getting positive reps out there as he learns PG position.
For what it’s worth, it’s not just Sochan. Keldon’s pretty bad as well reading offense/defense.

Biyambo is an actual center, so of course he understands the reads in the paint better. Score another one for PATFO laying Jeremy out of position yet again.

Both very good points, Jordan and exstatic. Others have pointed this out but the Spurs have really done Jeremy a disserve as not having a coherent, consistent plan for him and sticking to that. His versatility is a curse, in this regard, because he's the first to get jerked aroundinto awkward positions when the need arises, and he clearly does not have what it takes upstairs to handle it.
Bismack highlights how poor some of these guys on our team are, IMO. Biyombo is NOT GOOD. But he's also not terrible, so he looks great in comparison to what we've been seeing. He knows where to be, how to position himself and can make a 5-foot hook shot. All basic shit that we should expect out of our entire roster, but it makes him a unicorn on the Spurs so we confuse that with a good player who people are eager to resign.

The Spurs philosophy is “positionless”’ basketball. Everyone on the roster is being tasked with playing various positions. Castle seems to have no issue with playing multiple positions. By no means is he perfect either.
If he can’t do it - what is his purpose?
And as I pointed out, Keldon is equally clueless.

Sochan couldn't hang with the Pistons speed and athleticism. He gets the ball near the basket and freezes with it if anyone is near him.
