A combination of the draft, some smart free agency work, and getting a healthy Wemby and Fox back should fix a lot of things.

Would also help to have a coach who isn't Mitch Johnson. He's fine as an assistant, but he ain't head coach material.

Our idea of rebounding is just "try to tap it to the nearest guy and throw it ahead" instead of actually boxing out or securing the ball with two hands which are basic fundamentals.

I know the team wants to play with pace, but it doesn't help if you are just tapping the ball back to the other team half the time.

Castle`s problem is that is driving to score, and often catches simself in double team. He has great first step, should look to pass more often

Frost Bank Center crowd was electric for such a meaningless game, tbh.. You could tell our fans are starving for Playoff Basketball. It is long overdue and frankly embarrassing for a franchise of this stature (Spurs now have the second longest active post-season drought after the Hornets)

Great game to watch. Seems the crowd got the Spurs over the line (great job to all you guys that went to the game) and I think you're right, the fans are starved for playoff basketball.

All I wanted was to make the playoffs this year. It's kind of crazy as I was so used to TD, Manu, Tony etc. that I was expecting to compete for the Championship and wouldn't accept anything less. I felt like each year the Spurs didn't win it with TD, Manu, Tony, it was a wasted year. Now, my expectations have completely changed/lowered, and I'm just happy to make the playoffs and see what happens. I just want these guys to get playoff experience. TD got it in his first year with a tough series against the Jazz.

That is a perfect description of the game.

When the Spurs were down 20, I was thinking, this is maybe a good thing for the Spurs FO to see they're getting blown out by the Raptors G-League squad, but they came back and won it. Hopefully that still shows them they need to make big improvements to the team. It's a good thing they didn't get a big 20+ point feel good win as I didn't want the FO thinking it's alright to bring all the players back.
