Rockets might lose to the Dubs but they got a bright future tbh. Might need to move Sengun for a big that fits better but that won't be an issue.

I think if they lose that means Jalen probably didn’t play well. He should probably be the first to go because it’s impossible to win with a SG who can’t shoot.

Well, they better act like somebody. This would make it 5x they lose to the Warriors in the playoffs just in the last 10 years :lol

Warriors are tough old cobs.

Curry is a stone cold killer with a heart, that's damn difficult to achieve, but, he's done it.

And Houston having that center bring the ball up at times is wrong and wrong-headed. Don't do that. Nothing good can come from it.

And the Amen kid was tight and frenetic. Moved too fast every time he touched the ball in the first half, slowed down in the second half and was better.

Thank Christ the Suns didn't get that damn Butler! I dodged a huge bullet there.

It ain't over, over-over. They can't go to San Francisco at 0-2, though. Then it will be over. over-over.

At least I got to watch the damn thing...it was on the MAX stream.

Not sure the Rockets can make any adjustments tbh. Their defense was amazing but they just can't shoot well enough. Either their shots go in four out of the next six or they lose the series.

Curry is really their daddy.

Other teams at least got one series wins against rivals they usually lose to.

Bitter loss.

I thought without Butler they would not win.

Ugh.

When draymond is allowed to pull players down by the neck and brooks get fouled out by a poke from behind it’s tough to beat them.

Yep. Also tough to win when the backcourt can’t shoot. Stone sat there at the deadline and didn’t get any sort of shooting. Picks are great but to win you need players. I don’t think Fertitta will be that patient if this series is lost. Green and FVV are surely out.

Would be stupid to panic and dump your warchest for a short term bandaid like Durant. I wouldn't overreact to this series, especially when GSW is way better than a 7-seed after the Butler trade. Though I would try to consolidate Green and Whitmore into something useful.

First cogent comment & thought process you've had since Trump made President again.

Congratulations.

Luckily they have all the Suns' draft picks going forward. Would be a mistake to waste them on Giannis tho imo.

They needed a crap team like Memphis to gain playoff experience. Getting the Warriors was the worse thing that could happen to them.

Giannis isn't fixing the problem imo, plus he'll cost more than the Suns' picks (might have to include Amen or Sengun). Should just flip some of their lesser pieces like Eason and Green into proven shooters and roll it back one more year. Like the Thunder, Rockets aren't going anywhere for a while and have the high-end picks to luck into a future superstar.

Regardless you'll be alright. You drew a monster match-up as stated.

They're all professionals so they'll recognize the event and respond as they should...get mad, buckle down and re-surface, and never forget it.

If the rockets can upgrade from sengun to Giannis, switch up Jalen green for a decent shooter, they’d be a major contender for a while.

Giannis is younger, but he's also the worse fit out of the two. The Rockets really need to add some shooting. If Sengun and Amen are part of your future, you have 0 room for non-shooting players in the rest of the starters.

Not sure if it’s Flexing time. The rockets did quite well for a first time. Some holes which we all know, but if they can get a reliable scorer (Durant, booker or Giannis) with some outside shooting they could be a strong contender. They could end up like the jailblazers, strong challengers for a few years but never get to the big dance like most contending hopefuls, but with the assets they have their future does look bright.

OKC is still looking to become a dynasty in the making and the spurs have wemby, but the rockets are going to make the western conference a bloodbath in the next few years.

Everything I said would happen in the playoffs (and that djohn2oo8 argued against) happened. Of course it is flexing time.
