Sorry, y'all. I've been hitting the vape and decided to start a thread.
I'm not expecting major trades this summer, but obviously could be wrong.
1. Fox
2. Castle
3. Harper
4. Vassell
5. CP3
6. Wesley
Bonus prediction: Vassell will garner too much playing time, and there will be a million posts here, invading every thread. Luckily, we strike a deal and move him in February, ideally at peak value.
This leaves no room for Malaki. I don't understand all the dynamics and nuance with regard to g-league and the big league, but it seems like it would serve both well (Malaki and Blake) to spend more time in Austin, as in a week at a time. Send them down for a week of prep with intentions of performing some load balancing maneuvers when they come back, maybe give them 25-30 minutes to see what they can do. If they do well, feed them a start against a team on the tank. Build that confidence.

I don’t think you can assign them after year two for any reason except rehab. IIRC, Malaki requested an assignment last year for a week or two.

No room for CP3 either

CP3 is gone
1. Fox
2. Castle
3. Harper
4. Vassell
5. Wesley
6. Branham
Branham might be the one guy that gets packaged in a trade if we make one. CP3 will find playing time somewhere else. At this point we don't even have back up minutes for him.

I think you can make arguments that both of them will be here, both of them will be gone, or one or the other will still be here. They’re both ending contracts, and sometimes those $4-5M deals are just what you need to make a trade work.

This is going to be Branham's breakout year, tbqh

The only possible injections into the starting lineup (excluding stars we trade for) are vets and top 10 picks (as we saw with Sochan… and Castle would have been another if CP3 wasn’t here).
so I think Harper will be the only addition to the starting lineup.
PG: Fox/ CP3/ Wesley
SG: Harper/ Julian/ Branham
SF: Castle/ Keldon
PF: Barnes/ Sochan
C: Wemby/ Sorber
I think Vassell is gone in a move up scenario for Sorber. Keldon probably kept for the culture. Maybe CP3 stays if he has nowhere else to go, but if not then Wesley’s the primary backup for Fox
Scenario 2
If Vassell can’t be used to trade up for Sorber, I think they take Jase Richardson and then bundle up Wesley, Vassell, Sochan for a veteran PF to start over Barnes or be a backup to him
Fox/ Jase
Harper/ Julian
Castle/ Keldon
Barnes/ PF
Wemby/ Bassey/ Reynaud
