This is what $1 million will get you in softball:

The Texas Tech junior pitcher has been named a top-three finalist for the 2025 USA Softball National Player of the Year Award.

Canady won the award in 2024.

She currently boasts a .092 ERA with 272 strikeouts and a 28-5 record in the circle this season. She’s also hitting .318 with 10 home runs and 33 RBI, slugging .716.

But honestly wgaf, I wouldn't even care or know about softball except out of curiosity of our million dollar player. So that led me to finding out this--- which is worth posting lollllllllllllllll.....

....lllllllll....

...llllll aggies:

"After a magical season that peaked with being named co-champions of the 2025 SEC Softball Tournament, No. 1 national seed Texas A&M suffered a 6-5 loss to Liberty in Game 7 of the Bryan-College Station Regional on Sunday night.

With the loss, the Aggies become the first top-seeded team to not reach a super regional since the NCAA Tournament began seeding in 2005......"

Shows what A pitcher means in softball.
TT is not where they are without her. And apparently she can also hit.
TT has a benefactor(s) who loves softball.

They're not even in the upper half of the Big 12 without her. They've been terrible forever. She's that dominant.

Should be a lot easier to win a lot of conference championships now that Texas and OU are not in the Big XII.

And make the playoffs/NCAA tournaments in general in most all sports except for maybe basketball.
