I gave up on that about 11 years ago. Is it really worth it financially anymore if it's not a md or jurisdoctor? And those are hard, nail biting jobs, high pay yes but not fun or easy.

Yep, my step brother is a genius... wish I had his smarts. MD in neurology and oncology.

purely semantically, a JD is a doctorate but it would feel incredibly disingenuous to treat it like it is
