Love it— LaRavia sounds smart, says all the right things, but also ends with saying the money matters and it’s a business. No way he’s taking a sizable pay cut to stay with a mediocre franchise like the Kings.

If the Spurs don't want to pay (as usual), there is the option of bring a center playing in Europe. What Yabusele did last year with Philly and a tiny contract.
Mathias Lessort (2,06 m) would then be an option. It remains to be seen if he has an exit option and if it is not too late for him to then get a contract next year (he is the same age as Yabusele). His rights belong to Washington.
There is also the Mam Jaiteh (30 years, 2,08 m) option. Great athletic presence, good technically (floater).
Or Vincent Poirier (2,13 m), another veteran, brief experience in the NBA, one of the most athletic players in Europe at the center position. You spend almost nothing and you have your Frenchie to rest Wemby.
With European veterans, you know what you have. Roughness in defense. Energy coming off the bench. No three points. And this, for a very low price (Mamu can keep is PF position).

Is Milutinov still active? Dude is very stout but slow for the nba.
