The thing about your support coming from a sense of inevitability is that once that facade is fractured the support evaporates. I think it is incredible difficult to understate what last night will mean not only for that singular race, but every race in the upcoming primary season. The electoral environment was already insanely bad for sitting Democrats as far as primary challengers goes, and this is going to embolden even more challengers. Those people are going to connect with the sentiment across the country a whole hell of a lot more than centrist Dems who still think it is the year 95.

I would bet Cuomo does not run. Eric Adams may, but given his attachment to Trump at this point I don't think it will matter.

Let me tell you a story about Stephen Miller and chain migration.

I have watched with dismay and increasing horror as my nephew, an educated man who is well aware of his heritage, has become the architect of immigration policies that repudiate the very foundation of our family’s life in this country.
