This is the most high-potential young NBA roster since that 2009-10 Thunder squad (KD, Russ, Harden, Ibaka, Jefff Green, Thabo).

MVP Caliber/Superstar Tier: Wemby (21)
Established fringe All-Star Tier: Fox (27)
ALL-NBA/All-Star potential: Harper (19), Castle (20)
Elite/Situational Role Player Potential: Bryant (19), Champagnie (24), Sochan (22)

Amazing turnaround from the Primo disaster in 2021

Adding Castle, Fox, Harper, and Bryant in the last 12 months has really changed the outlook

Just need to consolidate with role players and vets in middle of their primes..It is time to start to winning and let lottery and the future of Hawks picks more of a sideshow. We're all set after an all-time, insanely lucky three year drafting run. Can't be expecting more than this.

THAT OKC team took eventual Champ Lakers to a tight six-game series in Round 1 in 2010 with the main 3 core guys not even 22 yet.

Complemented by a young, hungry coaching staff, who are out to prove themselves......

I think the 2nd youngest team in NBA history to ring should hold that title tbh but I hear ya :lol

Won't mean a thing if Vic can't stay healthy and reach his potential tho.

Not just players but young coaches as well.
I'm excited to see what happens with a new and hungry coaching staff that still has things to prove.

Can we at least make the play-in before y'all forget how bad this team was last season and declare them the best in the NBA.

We just have to be patient and realize there will be a lot of boneheaded mistakes made through this growing process.

Goes the other way as well. Vic could put up Wilt numbers and it won't matter if we don't surround him with talent. The days of nba superstars being able to solo level their way to a title is over.

Wonder if Castle will play. I can't remember a reigning ROTY doing it before.

Ordinarily I'd expect not, but man I'd love to get a preview of Castle and Harper's on the floor together. Combined with Bryant, I'd expect them to double up the opposition on the scoreboard.

There's another universe where Joshua Primo is our lead guard

Reason for Castle not to play tbh
