Tuned in for the end of the game. Looks like the rooks were struggling. Was good to see them respond at the end with the go ahead point and defense to send it to overtime. Harper looked a little disengaged off ball but didn't see the full game. Good to see him stay aggressive even when he got blocked in OT. I'd much rather they get their butts kicked early in the league as a wake up call than to walk over fringe NBA players. Always the better learning opportunity.

Struggling is a compliment tbh. They SUCKED, plain and simple. Growing pains.

Filipowski is a player.

Still not a huge fan of Collier but he's pretty good. Cody, I can see flashes. He'll need work to be a rotation guy, but he can get there. Flip though is a deal.

He gets shit on a lot in here, but Ingram played a darn good game. Yes, he has limitations, but he hustles and gives max effort out there. I wish more gifted players would play and try as hard as he does.

Ingram plays smart. I never really think he's going to fuck up a lot. Also gets boards and such because he knows where the ball's likely to go.

So does anyone else think its weird for a team to send a guy who played 72 games in his rookie season back to summer league? Like maybe I just don't remember anyone doing it.

I didn't see it. Saw people cliff diving and just expected it to be the normal bad showing.

Carter Bryant is shooting 18%? Saw a twitter post say he's shooting lower than his age as a rookie. :lol made me chuckle. Not really worried about his shot but it's funny seeing the reactions.

The Jazz had actual NBA rotation players on their team and still lost to largely the Spurs G league team. Clearly the Jazz are bottom tier, but league players are still league players.

Impressive the Spurs held on thanks to Veteran Minix. Odd that the jazz have now lost all of their games.

Is Filipowski available? Guess he pushed Collins off the team tbh. :lol

I use FSSW during the season, it cost $170+ a month on Directv. So at $40 more a month I don't have it for the two games of SL for half the year. So it basically cost $120 a game, as I don't watch it other than Spurs games. It seems a bit high to keep it year 'round at $2000 plus. I'll go to Paris for lunch instead. Haha.

Thanks for the tip about reddit though. I'll watch play by play and highlights probably.Could just buy a month of ESPN+. They archive the games for a week or so.

I like the mid game box scores. some of us that read it after can actually follow the game that way. It is much easier to skip his post then to go back and find mid game box scores.

I was about to ask the same question after the game if the Spurs passed up Filipowski in that draft, but yes, it was Furphy I was thinking of myself, so the Spurs didn't really have the option to pick him. Do you guys think the Spurs would have picked him had he still been on the board? I do remember during or after that draft, I think there was some fans here that wanted to draft him.
I also remember a poster mentioning after the draft that he was dating an older girl. I think I also remember hearing/reading that teams passed up on him due to his relationship with her. Not sure what the big deal was as it wasn't a huge age gap from what I remember.
