Are you sure about that genius?
http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/stats/byteam?cat1=offense&cat2=Total&conference=I-A_all
But even if that weren't the case, USC only averaged 38 points per game last year before dropping 55 on the pride of the Big 12 in the Championship. Also, I can remeber more than a few games this year when USC played their scrubs for most of the second half. But I guess it's more impressive to run up the score for guys like you. Stats don't always tell the real story.

This isn't about conferences. This is about Texas and USC. They are both clearly head and shoulders above their conferences, so that is a moot point. The Pac-10 is no goliath.

people like you are sad. you probably only like the trojans bc its the "in" thing to do right now. you were probably a lakers fan for all those years too and now that they suck im sure you deny it.
and hmmm.....lets see, counting this years game, how many games in the last few years has the big 12 played in? we could go back to the mid 90s and count nebraska who i think falls under the big 12 when they won. not sure on that one.
oh and btw "Eight football squads have played in BCS bowls in the last six seasons. The Big 12 leads all conferences with four appearances in the National Championship game. In basketball, an unprecedented eight men's and women's basketball teams have advanced to their respective Final Fours in the past four seasons as the Big 12 continues its place among the elite intercollegiate athletic conferences."

but, as usual with winning la teams, there are alot of hollywood types on the usc wagon... but a good number of them went to sc or have strong connections. the others, well there's nothing anyone can do... unless the lakers start winning again...ha...

You're just pissed that USC has owned Notre Dame recently. Hell, Notre Dame barely escaped with a victory over STANFORD. :lol
Thanx for proving my point though. Most people on this forum are just too young, or too ignorant to know anything about Pac-10 football. But that doesn't stop them from pretending. And it's always a bunch of half-assed opinions with nothing of real substance to back it up.
That's ok though. USC is gonna be doing the talking for Pac 10 come January 4th. And after they've claimed yet another NCAA Championship for the Conference, the ignorant ones will be left with nothing but their half-assed opinions.

True, USC finally caught a break to win it at the end. But the game shouldn't have even been that close to begin with. Because just like in the good ol' days, Notre Dame was the beneficiary of one-sided officiating for most of the day. Like the fumble play where half the players on the field were pushing and shoving each other, but only the USC player got called for the personal foul. Or the Notre Dame punt return for a TD that started off with an illegal block in the back RIGHT IN FRONT OF A REF who just stood there and watched it happen. Or the entire first half when the disparity in penalties was something like 15-2. I counted 6 holding penalties on Notre Dame before the refs finally decided to call one of them. Granted, you can argue that holding happens on just about every play. But if you're going to nit-pick one team with holding penaties, at least be fair and do the same with the other team.
Talk about luck all you like, but I'm thoroughly convinced that USC would have won that game by at least 2 touchdowns had it not been for bad officiating.

then you try to say that usc owned ND and also try to pull the age card. :rolleyes lame on both attemps. i dont care how old i am. i know when a team doesnt dominate another one and neither team dominated the other in this game. and as a former linemen, albeit hs, holding does happen on nearly every play. but theres also a set rule for waht is holding. i believe as long as its within your shoulder width area then its not a penalty. plus if refs called every single penalty a football game would look like a basketball game. and finaly you get offended/mad when someone correctts your mistakes. the big 12 isnot a weak conference and jsut bc usc is a good, or great depending on how you look at it, team doesnt make a whole conference good. lets see...they have arizona, arizona state, stanford, cal, oregon, oregon state, ucla, washington and washington state. :rolleyes all powerhouse football teams :rolleyes

That's very true in most cases. But I Tivo'd that game, and watched a lot of it a second time just to make sure the officiating wasn't as atrocious as I first thought. The replays only confirmed it.
Look, I understand why Longhorn fans have rooted against USC all year. I wouldn't want to play them either. But I challenge anyone to find a way to watch that game again and tell me that the refs weren't one-sided for most of the game. You can't do it.

No, rooting against USC doesn't mean I did not want my team to play them. I don't fear USC and I believe in the phrase "in order to be the best you have to beat the best"

I erased that game off the DVR hard drive about a week after the game. Its only got 35 hours of recording space, and ND/USC wasn't exactly something worth keeping on there. The only advice I can give you is to wait for it to be replayed on ESPN Classic. You shouldn't have to wait too long.
What does it matter anyway? Texas/USC are still going to play on Jan, 4th regardless. Seems like an awefull big waste of time. But hey, it's your time. To each his own I guess.

That's very true in most cases. But I Tivo'd that game, and watched a lot of it a second time just to make sure the officiating wasn't as atrocious as I first thought. The replays only confirmed it.
youre the one who tivoed it to ebgin with. :rolleyes so it looks like youre the one who has nothing but time onyour hands. i was just calling you out on it and my suspicions were confirmed that you are lying about watching it again.
oh yeah, and texa will still play usc on jan 4 even if i watch the usc/nd game again. really?? i sure hope so bc i would bemade if i watched taht game again and some reason texas no longer went or usc lost instead of won. :rolleyes
and youre going to tell me you have 32 hrs of other useless shit recordedoff of tv, what a loser.

Shelshor picked 44-37 (off by 4)
SA Gunslinger picked 42-41 (off by 4)

There was no 2-0 prediction. I think the winner should be whomever got the point differential right.

His score is way off. There are many people with the differential kind of close.
