I love the way he is playing this year.

Tonight vs Sacremento, he had :

28 points 19 assists and shot 10-15 from the floor including 6-8 from 3

His game has exploded under Flip now that he is the decision maker on the floor as opposed to running set plays under LB

Rip was also big tonight scoring 36 points.

He was amazing tonight.

I'm mad at Flip for taking him out of the game early, though. He would have had 20. :jack

Oh well, I suppose thats a pretty good thing to be mad about. :lol

If he doesn't make the all-star team this year I'm never watching one again.

Chauncey is a flat out MONSTER. Best overall PG in the league.

Chauncey's got an outside shot at First Team All-NBA this year.

It will be a nice consolation prize for losing the Finals again.

That's funny how you lowered the font size of that comment. Hilarious!! That really amused me. Nice one.

He is the most underrated PG in the league. Maybe even one of the most underrated players in the league right now. Too bad he won't be doing that when Bruce, Bruce is all over him like a rash.

Bruce was great against Chauncey. I'm sure that Chauncey would love to test that match-up again. I'm not saying Chauncey would do better. But, I'd love to see it again and I would hope Chauncey could do better against Bruce given another chance in the same crunch time situation.

Thinking back to when the Spurs did switch Bruce on Chauncey, I'm more disappointed that Rip didn't take better advantage of the smaller Tony Parker when the switched was made. But, alas, the Tony and the Spurs as a team got it done.

Chauncey Billups late in the game scares me more than anyone else in the league right now, with the exception of Kobe and occasionally Ben Gordon.

That's why I think Bruce had a reasonable argument for Finals MVP, because he stopped Billups from killing us.

As for Tony, people forget that he made the second most importan defensive stand of the series (after Bruce's block of Chauncey in Game 7) when he refused to flop on Rip (and thus prevented him an open view of the basket) at the end of Game 5.

Billups is a beast.

Detroit really is a monster team.

The only thing I really worry about with them in the playoffs is Saunders.

Can he lead them past a team like the spurs that has equal chemistry and performers and can prepare for them every night?

Can SAUNDERS make the adjustments that the team needs?

As a Pistons fan, I'll just say this ... should Detroit be lucky enough to make it all the way back to the NBA Finals, I just hope the team is healthy enough and playing well enough that Flip Saunders isn't much of a factor whether they are able to win it all.
