Hi,

as you know the Spurs come to Europe next year and this is our chance to see our Spurs play...
We can use this thread to post news and updates as well as where we can get tickets (especially the french posters might help with things like tickets). Because at the moment I don't have a clue where I can get tickets for the Paris game. I would love to see them and maybe some of us can meet before the game. It should be fun...

@alamo: I bet you will be there, right? :spin

Who else plans to go there??? Just curious...

What is the weather like in October? I have been promising my wife a trip to France....hmmm...this could work.

Well, I think summer might be better for a trip to Europe. But if the sun is shining it might be nice in october too...

"weather like in October"

very variable, can be dry and clear, or wet/cold.

But (US) wimmen gets such stars in their eyes about "Paris", it's all good for them. :lol

If you want to remain married I would suggest late spring. If marriage is not too high on your priority list - airfares are really cheap in October :lol

Been married for 35 years, so not too concerned about staying that way.

For tickets, it seems that they aren't available for the moment but if it's the same thing as usual, you have two ways to get it :
- ticketnet (http://www.ticketnet.fr/shop/fr/accueil.asp), it's a website and the international shipping cost are 12€
- La Fnac (http://www.fnacspectacles.com/?fc=cf&RNID=-7&bl=HGACong09&NID=-7&CurArea=), it's music/electronic stores. They can send you the ticket (I don't know the cost) or you can take them in a store when you are in Paris. You have to pay with a credt card, we don't use wire transfert in france like in Gernamy.

If you want to visit Le Louvre (the big museum with Mona Lisa,The Venus de Milo and lots of beautiful things less known) you can take a tickets on these sites too. You have additional fee (around 1€) but you don't wait to enter in the museum.

The weather in Paris is often rainy in october, but you could have a good surprise.

For the hotel, I haven't a precise one to tell you, but it's around 100€ for one night.

That could very well be the case, but I might keep the cash in my pocket till next season's playoffs in San Antone.

You can buy your ticket since today.
But it's a shame, around 120$ for the "cheapest" ones. It's a theft.
No way I spend that for a fuckin preseason game.
Hopefully, I will go to Dallas soon. I rather wait and spend $50 to see a real nba game than giving $120 to this stupid french organizer.

Does somebody know if Porte O, Row 16 are good seats? Maybe some french posters have already been to the bercy an can tell me if you have a good view from there?!That would be great. Is this arena good for watching basketball? The tickets for cologne are also that expensive.

Thanks...

So category 1 should be good as well? Sorry for those dumb questions, but if you have never been there it is hard to imagine how the arena is devided and from where the view is good. :angel Where do you sit at the Spurs- Maccabi game?

Thank you. :fro

Damn, "trop de chance"! what's your seat?

I couldn't resist, I took my cat 1 seat even though it's really expensive..
It would be a shame if I stay up late until 3/5 am the whole year and that I can't go see my Spurs at 20 km away from my house! :king

alamo50

A friend who can actually talk a bit of French convinced me to go instead of just saving dough for the playoffs.

The old school in here knows I care more about our Spurs than jobs and when I found out it's just 3 hours by Thalys from my home to the stadion I was hittin' the freakin' buttons like crazy!

Paris here we come!

Relax grasshopper, it's still 9,5 months time before we'll invade France and I am sure we will meet up as I am at porte P, row 11.
Tickets should get to you in 5 business days.

:spin

Anybody take a party of 3?
