pawned ? I don't know what is sadder. You trying to type 'elite' or mistyping your use of 'elite'.

Spurs' defense broke down with missed rebounds and free throws, not that it is new but they are going to great lengths to surpass their ineptness at the line every game. garnett, wally and hudson were on. Barry was extreme. He got a great rebound and was fouled only to miss both throws with under a minute left. Tim went 4 for 6 from the line with under 3 minutes left.

sorry but KG severely outplayed duncan tonight. spurs got the win but it shouldn't have come down to a 2 point game. Duncan shot 3-7 at the FT line. and missed a lot of FT's when it counted. he didn't even get 50% of them. so yes, KG did "pawn" TD tonight. but spurs got the win. i'm just answering as to how wolves got so many points in the 2nd half

Tim went 4 for 6 from the line with under 3 minutes left.

I'll take that every day of the week.

Tim DID NOT go 4-6. i dont know what game that guy was watching. how can he go 4-6 when he shot 3-7 from the line the entire game?? i know he's a bad FT shooter but lately his ft's are making shaq look like rick barry. tim needs to step up. having said that, it was great that despite tim's dissapearance in the final minutes that we still got the W w/out ginobili

Ummmm, the reason the Wolves scored so much was because KG was hitting his jumper in the 3rd, and Wally Zackkasdkskskskserbiak was getting and-1 after and-1 after and-1 after and-1 throughout the entire 2nd half.

I would say Wally was the primary reason the game was so close at the end.

I remember the two trips Tim made to the line within 30 secs of each other and missing both. I was mistaken in thinking he went to the line a third time. He went to the line only twice in the last 3 minutes. I guess Barry's free throw shooting was so bad he reminded me of Tim. Barry missed both his free throws with under 2 minutes left..maybe under 1 minute.

I still stand by my initial statement.

Spurs had alot of opportunities on the offensive end to keep this from becoming a close game, and Tim missed most of them at the free throw line. Barry missing back-to-back's didn't help either.

This game was close bc of the FT line, theres no doubt about it.

There was a big breakdown in giving up offensive rebounds and letting Wally make unhindered cuts to the rack, resulting in easy passes for and-1s

Again, I did not watch the game, but I'm pretty sure the Spurs ineptness at the FT line contributed little to the Wolves 59-point second-half outburst.

No it didnt, the small line up just gave spurs trouble, I dont think Pop's D schemes work well when he's forced to go small.

That's why Wally tore us up.

Plus KG was a basketball GOD during the 3rd quarter.

Rebounding is a major concern - when your WING has to go and get huge rebs while centers suck, you are in trouble.

Allowing some 100 offensive boards on last couple of possessions has no excuses.

It was Duncan and 4 guards all of the 4th quarter.

Don't know what game you were watching.

Spurs won.

KG owned Duncan.
