I had bought some basketball cards through Ebay back on NOV 25th. I have not received them as of yet and I have contacted the seller. The seller replied to my email on DEC 4th saying items have been shipped and that international mail takes longer. I asked he what he meant by international since he and I are in the states and he had not responded to that email. I sent an email yesterday, telling him "If the items were sent to someone else by mistake then please let me know,it happens and it is not a big deal. Other arrangements can be made after the holidays all I ask is that you respond to this email." His response was"Your lot has been sent. You were notified the day that it was shipped. I'm sorry that it has not arrived...I'm not sure what to tell you". Still no explination about the international mail comment( I think he sent it to the wrong person who resides overseas). I have sent him an email asking for either a similiar item or a refund, I'll have to see if he responds to this email. Any advice on how to report this to Ebay?

If you paid via PayPal you usually have thirty days to file a complaint, the seller will then have to show proof of shipment (Delivery Confirmation or Tracking) and if he is unable to do so you'll receive a refund.

If you made payment via some other method you may have other options.

The seller may be more willing to work with you after he finds out about the complaint from PayPal.

Good, I did pay through Paypal. Is that 30 days after payment was received or I have 30 days from when I paid to file a complaint with PayPal?

Can you translate that to Engrish please?

Do I have to wait 30 days to file a complaint OR do I have only 30 days to file a complaint? Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth? :D

You have thirty days to file the complaint, in other words if you paid on the 25 of November you have until the 25 of December to file a complaint, after that you are out of luck unless you paid with a credit card through PayPal, then you may have additional time to file a complaint.

You shouldn't date someone that works for the same company, it's also often times against company policies.....

The "international mail" comment one is an interesting one. Maybe the seller is not actually in the US. If they aren't or are but are shipping from overseas, it is more likely that the cards may be counterfeit. Just something to consider.

The only other thing I can add is that you jumped the gun a little on asking about your shipment. It is customary to wait at least two weeks before asking about your stuff. It is true that international shipments can take forever to arrive. Even from Canada. And true, you really don't know where sellers are located. But you wanna be careful and not piss sellers off before you get your item. Otherwise you may never get it.

If anyone is interested the seller has offered a partial refund. Any thoughts? I am considering the partial refund even though I would take another Rasho Item of equal or less value.

I can’t believe that you are wasting people’s time on a .25 cent Rasho card...Sheesh! Give the seller a break....The postman probably threw it in the garbage!

Why don’t you bid on something meaningful like this! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=ADME:B:BCA:US:11&Item=6466413005)
