Thank goodness they're among us, because they provide some additional entertainment that the trolls and wanna-be trolls can't provide.
Yes, they're the bandwagon fans that really don't deserve to celebrate with the rest of us when the Spurs are holding up the NBA trophy at the end of the season. These are the fans that moan and complain and cuss out Pop and the Spurs at the first hint of a problem but then are proud to join in the celebration when the Spurs win.
These fans have it both ways, they can coattail on the best team in basketball and then be the first to say "I told you so" when the Spurs lose. Lovely.
From reading recent posts here are a few of our resident Cliff Jumpers as of December 20th. When the season's over I want to be able to look back at who jumped ship this early in the season:
Shawn Michaels -- Shouldn't be allowed to call himself a Spurs fan
Walton -- Annoying
Boutons -- Mr. Negativity
Kip Fanatic -- What's a Kip anyway?
Writer -- Should be pushed off a cliff if he doesn't choose to jump.
Sequ -- Probably acts like a penis because he has so many at eye level. He does love his Spurs though, so he's kind of an honorary jumper.
On the Edge, but I think can regain their balance:
Kris
TDfan2007
The most famous cliff jumper is T Park of course, but I know he's a good guy who just loves his Spurs and is ultra emotional about them. I don't expect any jumping by my buddy T this year!
Who did I miss?
For those of you who are cliff jumpers, email me for counseling at SPAMTherapy@SpursRule!SpursRule!.com. You can be saved!!!
