They are running an all day marathon of season 3 of 24. I haven't seen it yet, but I didn't get a chance to start watching it and now I don't want to jump when I havne't seen the first episodes.

Yet, its taunting me on the guide!

Give in and watch! You'll catch up. How many have shown so far? I haven't got anything else to do. May as well watch Jack shoot people.

I've seen the first 2 seasons, but they are way too far into Season 3 to start now. I think they are about halfway through. I'll have Season 3 in my possession within a weak, so I'm going to wait. I just hope I get a chance to watch season 4 before Janruary 15th, so that I can watch season 5 as it airs!

And yeah, watching Jack "Bad Ass" Beaur is always a way to kill time. :lol

It's filmed in real time, so if you want to watch the entire season, it will take you an entire twenty four hours of viewing to complete it.

Season 3 is the best. Chase Edmonds is sexy.

I'm gonna pull a Kori and say I've never seen an episode of 24. I want to, but I feel that because of the way the show is set up, I have to start with season 1, episode 1 and watch all the way through. Otherwise, the story would be ruined.

True, but it's so worth it. I don't usually go for anything that testosterone-fueled, but watching Jack Bauer be Badass-extraordinaire really is entertaining.

Damn, Manny. :lol

:lol that was intended for things only media related. Manny can be as testosterone-fueled as he wants and I'd still go for him :eyebrows

I'm exactly the same way.

I really want to see 24, but I want to be able to see it from the beginning.

I've watched it from the begining. I'm really hoping to be fully caught up by the 15th so I can watch along as they are aired.

I'm watching season 4 right now! I'm on disc 5. I get off from work at 11:30am, so I have plenty of time to watch 24. I too had to start from season 1. You know what? I think watching 24 by renting it is the best way to watch it! You don't have to wait until next week to see what happens. I'm thinking of waiting until season 5 ends, and then renting the series.

I don't think it's necessary to watch from the beginning... The plots aren't really based on earlier seasons, and you should be able to catch on to characters and roles pretty easily. The only time I could see it being that helpful is when they "bring back" characters from previous seasons.

Wow, I mistook 24 for the OC

I don't know, the first 2 seasons were very interconnected. And I haven't seen the third yet, but I know Nina is once again involved and I'm assuming the story is going to stem from what happens to Palmer at the end of season 2 (Although I could be way off).

But yeah, you may be able to follow along by jumping in at the starting point of any season. I just think the background info is pretty important and makes it more enjoyable.
