If you could choose to be one of the many comic book superhero's. Who would it be?

My choice:

I can listen to John William's Superman theme nonstop.

I can only hope John Ottman does Mr. Williams justice with his "interpretation” of his music for Superman Returns.

Onslaught was so ridiculously powerful that he fucking hit the Juggernaut so hard it scared the shit out of him and left him crying like a little baby!!

Also, it took a feral hulk to crack his armor, and virtually the entire marvel universe to stop him finally.

Galactus made Silver Surfer as a hearlad to seek out planets and grew fond of Earth so when Galactus tried to taking Earth he rebeled and asked the FF for help, I don't remember how, but Reed Richards somehow got ahold of a weapon (via Doctor Doom) that could hold Galactus powers at bay it was called the Ultimate Nullifer so in fear Galactus struck a deal with FF and Silver Surfer to not consume planets of Sentient Life Beings who were intelligent. You should search the web for torrents, I got hella comics, I got all the X-Men series starting from Uncanny #1 same with Spiderman.

Prof. X was so mad at Magneto that after he done that he shut down a part of Mags' brain and through that telekinetic transfer a lot of Magnetos' hatred of humanity somehow was transferred to Xavier and locked up in his mind. As anti-mutant hysteria grew so would the hatred until one day when a Mutant was found dead with the Friends of Humanity insignia on it is the time when Xavier cracked and Onslaught took over his body.

yeah I got back into comics a year or so after onslaught and when i found out about onslaught I was so pissed off that I missed such a bad ass crossover that I went back and got all the good onslaught comics.

I even have the X-Men issue over a year befoer Onslaught started where Juggernaut got the shit beat out of him and was crying like a little baby cuz Onslaught had totally owned him (one of my favorite issues ever, the only time I recall Juggernaut truely being scared..)

The de-adamantiumization of Wolverine was RAW.

Magneto can stop anyone with human blood. He just causes the iron in the blood cells to go away from the head and brain, and bing: instant unconsciousness. He can kill them if he holds it that way long enough.

He could demagnatize all credit cards and cause mass chaos and mass withdrawals from banks, thereby causing another recession

If you thougth hard enough, there's no end to what Magneto could do with his powers...Thats why Age of Apocalypse was the shit, cuz you actually saw what MAgneto could do as a hero instead of a villain.

I have never heard of the first two, but the last is a given...he is the number 1 most powerful force on earth (nate grey still owns him imo)

There was an issue of "What If..." Where it showed what if the juggernaut had killed professor X. He owned the world man. Everyone was dead and the only thing that was capable of surviving the end fo the world was the Juggernaut..

Also, the reason the Hulk gets bested from time to time is because of his human psyche....when he is released of his human mind and is allowed to be a total feral animal then he's pretty unstoppable

for example I doubt that fucking runt wolverine would last 1 minute against a feral hulk

More people who would PW3ED Hulk and Juggernaut:

Mephisto

Maybe the Silver Surfer; The Silver Surfer can endow himself with Class 100 strength, enabling him to lift (press) over 100 tons. He possesses the Power Cosmic which he can use to generate powerful force blasts or to rearrange molecules. The Surfer travels on a surfboard which responds to his mental commands and is as indestructible as he is. He has a Cosmic Awareness which allows him to feel energy around him.

But strength ratings mean nothing to the juggernaut...he can never be destroyed, and the only reason Onslaught (was it him) was able to pry the jewel of cytorak from his chest was due to his elite psychic powers, not because of strength

I talked to the guy and he and other super duper Marvel nuts calculated how much these mofos could lift by reading the comic books and looking at there powers. Like if they lifted an object they would do research and see how much that thing weighs.

Example Thanos lifts all of the 43 stories of the Baxter building they would research how much a 43 story building would weigh.

And in most Marvel Comic Books halfway they would do bios and show examples of the dudes powers.

I think they had a Marvel Annual Two-in-One just explaining how strong these people were.

The strenght may be questionalbe, but they're abilities aren't.

Also, it don't matter, mostly all of them can lift a tank like it's a baseball and chuck it at 80 MPH

Thanos
Strength Level: The exact extent of Thanos's physical strength is not known, but he was able to engage both the Thing and Thor in hand-to-hand combat simultaneously for an extended period of time and hold his own. Presumably, then, Thanos possessed at least Class 100 strength, enabling him to lift (press) over 100 tons.

Known Superhuman Powers: Thanos possessed incalculable superhuman power. By far the most powerful of the Titanian Eternals, Thanos was a mutant whose massive, heavy-bided body was born with the capacity to synthesize cosmic energy for certain personal uses. (This is a trait that Thanos shared with his father Alars and all Earthborn Eternals but not with Titan-born Eternals. Through still unknown bionic amplification, Thanos increased his physical strength and resilience to levels surpassing even the strongest of the Earth Eternals. Through meditation and certain mystical techniques, Thanos augmented his power in still other ways, enabling him to tap, transform, and direct vast quantities of cosmic energy for destructive force. His skin in nearly invulnerable, particularly against heat, cold, electricity, radiation, toxins, aging, and disease, and he can survive indefinitely without food or water even before his "curse" from Death left him immortal, unable to die. His mind is also invulnerable to most forms of psychic attack, and can project a psionic blast of energy as well as blasts of plasma/cosmic energy from his eyes and hands. He usually employs a hovering chair with additional offensive weapons and the ability to teleport fantastic distances. Deadliest of all Thanos's attributes, perhaps, was his mind, whose superhuman level of intellect was totally dedicated to the annihilation of life.

Champion of the Universe
Strength Level: The limits of the Champion's strength are not known. In Earth's gravity, he can lift (press) at least 100 tons. His strength derives from the channeling of cosmic energy for physical use.

Known Superhuman Powers: The Champion controls the power primordial, the energy derived from the Big Bang itself. He has channeled this power into the development of his physical form: his musculature, his reflexes, his stamina, and his strength, while the exercise of human strength taps electro-chemical energies of the complex molecules in the body, the Champion's strength taps cosmic nuclear energies. His physical strength is only determined by the amount of cosmic energy his finite form can contain. This limit has yet to be seen. He apparently never tires since his body has the ability to tap whatever energies it needs to recuperate. He cannot be hurt by any means short of molecular dispersion. Having channeled all of the cosmic energy as his command into making his body a perfect fighting machine, the Champion can no longer direct that energy from his body into force-blast as many other energy manipulators can.

Abilities: The Champion has mastered untold thousands of different martial arts and fighting styles culled from across the known Universe, and spends the majority of his time between championship matches practicing these arts.

Limitation: The Champion's limitations are not known.

Winner: The Champ

The context makes it sound reasonable. Like this could actually work.

while the exercise of human strength taps electro-chemical energies of the complex molecules in the body, the Champion's strength taps cosmic nuclear energies. His physical strength is only determined by the amount of cosmic energy his finite form can contain. This limit has yet to be seen. He apparently never tires since his body has the ability to tap whatever energies it needs to recuperate. He cannot be hurt by any means short of molecular dispersion.
Brilliant.

So all it would take is a molecular disperser to own this chump!

Mr Fantastic could make that on any uneventful afternoon!

:lol @ CBF

HOly shit, you and E20 know everything there is to know about Marvel.

I never got into them, but I think it'd be cool stuff to read. I may have to read up on them.

BTW whoever called us nerds
We're geeks damn you....

I think E20 knows a shitload more than me, I hadn't even heard of some of the guys he was talking about. I was mostly into the X series, and have a shitload of Uncanny, from back to the original Phoenix saga, Days of Future Past, through Dark Phoenix, and stopped some time, then started again during Onslaught through Operation Zero Tolerance, then stopped, then haven't collected since 2001.

I do have a shitload of comics, a few bad ass ones too that will fetch me a G or two when I'm in a tight spot. I have the First apperance of Juggernaut, officially Graded as VF+ 8.0, that I probaably will never sell due to my infatuation with Juggernaut.

I also have Giant Size X-Men 1, which isn't in NM condition by any means, but still will fetch a good price in the future.

I never liked much outside of the X-men books, except the Maximum Carnage crossover, bc Carnage is one of the tightest villains ever....

I also liked "What If..." comics, those were awesome, i have a SLoad of those.

The coolest feat accomplished by someone would have to Eddie Brock. Since what he can do can actually be done in real life. Press 750 pounds and rep it under optimal conditions.

Damn, that's a tough one! Batman doesn't really count, because he doesn't posses any super/mutant powers. He is one badass motherfucker, nonetheless! I kind of dig Batman Beyond because of his intensified body armor with invisibility capability.

Ah, I suppose when it comes down to it, I’d pick psycho super-villainess Harley Quinn… she hooks it up with Mr. J all day and there’s nothing shabby about that!

You know how there is Marvel vs Capcom and Marvel vs EA there should be a Marvel vs Dragon Ball Z

The MvC series is amazing, but yeah that'd be an awesome idea! This is one great thread; here's who I'd be:
