Just win on the road....simple.

Funny how the JV conference fans celebrate even after beating the likes of Miami.
Bottom line. It doesn't mean shit until they have a ring.

Pooh, I like you bro and I like the Pacers but get serious. It was frickin Miami and they gave you all fits. The Spurs have two rings and you are trying to tell us how it's done?
The Lakers will steam roll Indiana if they don't tighten things up. Book it!
picnroll
05-18-2004, 11:58 PM
Wade has no three point shot. They needed three points. When Wade has a three pointer he'll be unstoppable. He's damn near unstoppable now.
I'm sorry are the Spurs in the conference finals? Uhh...NOPE! Indiana is....and we can beat the Lakers in a seven game series.

wade is clutch player he hit a clutch three in these playoffs. i forgot if it was against indy or new orleans
Miami?
The Spurs would beat them 4-0 by 10+ every game, even if Turkoglu played 48 Minutes. (Maybe)
IceColdBrewski

JV conference fans. :rolleyes
This is just too funny.
However Bubba...Indy is moving on and the Spurs cleaned out their lockers already. The best keeps moving on.

I'm sorry are the Spurs in the conference finals?
No, but it's familiar territory. I'm sorry, have the Pacers won anything of importance? FOUR TEAMS advance to the CFs every year.

Pooh God Bless you bro. You are either the biggest Pacer fan on the planet or you are lost. Think back to the off season dude I was as high on the Pacers as I was the Spurs chances. I like Reggie, Jermaine and Mike Brown and will be pulling for them but they can't beat LA playing the type of ball they played tonight.

Somebody please post a pic of Duncan holding the trophy and finish it with a quote of, "and that my friends...is how its done".
I'd do it myself but wasting time on JV conference fans seems like huge waste of time.
However Bubba...Duncan isnt holding up anything this year.

Our ring is about three weeks away Bubba and it's coming.

Indiana is in the East, so it's not a fair comparison. There's a big difference between the Lakers and the Heat.

Enough is enough. This guy is just trying to rub salt in the wound with his "this is how it's done" shit. Is this a Spurs forum or a Pacers forum?! This is a Spurs house. Go pound your chest somewhere else.

Right on Marcus Bryant. Be respectfull or get the **** out.
Don't get me wrong. I'm all for letting fans of other teams voice their opinions. But don't come into OUR forum acting like you own the fucking place. Espeacially after a pitifull showing against the likes of the Heat.
And another who hasn't let Saturday go....

IceColdBrewski
05-19-2004, 01:35 AM
And he's still dodging my bet. Guess he isn't too confident after all.
I'll even cut it to $50.00.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 01:38 AM
Good luck bro. You do have a point though. Pooh has told everyone that "its a fact" that Indy will when it all. Even though it is impossible for something that hasn't happened yet to be a fact. If I was that confident in my team, I would put the money down. It's a sure thing right?
I told you Bubba, I made my one bet and I won. I'm very confident in my team going all the way, as I have been saying all year long.
IceColdBrewski
05-19-2004, 01:44 AM
Not too confident apparently. Otherwise you'd be betting the house. Nice try though.
Well I'm up for a GTG this weekend if any of the true "Basketball" fans want to come and watch how the best team plays ball.
IceColdBrewski
05-19-2004, 01:52 AM
What the hell does a GTG have to do with a 50.00 bet? :rolleyes
Besides I live in Ft. Hood Tx. I won't be travelling 2 and half hours just to watch a JV conference team.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 01:52 AM
so you are saying that if we are true fans of the sport, we will hold a GTG for you. Even though none of us are Pacer fans?
no mikey a GTG for basketball lovers in general, but for me it would be to watch indy take another step to the title....not going to hurt you to go and be sociable.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 01:59 AM
you are assuming I will just drop everything and hang out with you?
It wouldn't be just you mikey, there are others who like to watch basketball...
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 02:03 AM
right....again are they going to change their plans just to hang out with you?
Well if posted ahead of time I'm sure others would consider it...just cause it's not the Spurs doesn't mean you have to just blow it off in general. I've been to GTG's that were just Spurs games....
IceColdBrewski
05-19-2004, 02:09 AM
This guy is just too much. First he comes here to rub salt in the wound and now he wants to tell us what a "true fan" of basketball should do by going to his little Pacer rally.
Too funny.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 02:11 AM
Right but those GTG's were planned by Spurs fans who wanted to watch Spurs games because the Spurs are their team of choice. Just because they don't want to watch a team that is not their team of choice, that does not make them any less a fan of the game. Personally, I have plans this weekend that include hoops, tubing and my wife, three things that rank light years ahead of you. But go ahead and post the GTG offer and see the response you get.
Well if you can't handle going to watch a non-spurs game...then it's cool, closed minds....that's all.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 02:14 AM
I guess you missed this part of my post....
I have plans this weekend that include hoops, tubing and my wife,
Course it won't be this weekend...probably during the week...won't hurt you to take a few minutes out of your time to stop by.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 02:23 AM
I didn't do weeknight GTG's for Spurs games, why would I for non-Spurs games. I don't get off until 7 and the last thing I want to do is go across town and hang out in a bar with you.
It won't be just me...your fearless leader will be there.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 02:29 AM
Well at least that would give me a reason to go. Hanging with Kori and LJ is always fun. Still.....spending time with the wife still takes priorty.
It wouldn't be a GTG if Kori and LJ wasn't there. Last time we had one it was Kori, LJ, GMoore, Cyberbob, Spurs Fan In Austin and myself. Hopefully we can get some more....perhaps you, mouse, etc.
IceColdBrewski
05-19-2004, 02:35 AM
This guy just doesn't get it does he?
NOW HERE THIS EVERYONE! Even though this Pacers fan insulted us with his "this is how it's done" crap in our own house, we must all put our personal lives aside and indulge him with our presence for a JV conference game on TV at a bar. Otherwise we will be considered less than "true fans".
That is all. You may now go back to your meaningless, non-Pacer fan existence.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 02:35 AM
but it was for a Spurs game. You are not going to get a big crowd from this site for a non-Spurs game. Especially with the way you have alienated everyone.
There was a GTG like this back in January Bubba, for a Spurs/Pacers game....the only reason why there was a low turn out was cause of the bad weather...But the ones that showed up had fun. We all did.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 02:39 AM
Spurs/Pacers game
key word.
I am not saying don't try, I am just saying not to be surprised if there is not a lot of interest.
Oh I'm not expecting many...course if it was the Spurs in the finals....then I know they would be there in droves, however those would be on the southside :) This one would be at Firehouse. It doesn't matter how many show up. I already know there won't be many...I would just think that if you (Spurs) fans love basketball, it would be fun just to have a GTG and the concidence that the Pacers just happen to be STILL in the playoffs just makes it even better.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 02:46 AM
loving basketball and going to a GTG are not related. A lot of Spurs fans now have extra time on their hands and want to spend it in other ways. And no, me wanting to spend time with my wife does not make me close-minded.
I planned the GTG back in January. The only reason why some didn't show up is because of the bad weather. But it's just a simple gathering. But if you can't attend one...no biggie. I just thought that now that Spurs fans have a TON of time on their hands I thought they might to enjoy watching some basketball, guess not. Oh well, least some will be there.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 02:52 AM
Oh well, least some will be there.
don't bet on it. But hey, plan it.
I'm sure they'll be some...not every day you get a chance to run me to the ground should the Pacers fall that night. I'll have help planning the GTG, the same who helped me on the last one.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 02:57 AM
not every day you get a chance to run me to the ground should the Pacers fall that night.
unlike you....I am not unsportsmanlike. I don't look for opportunities to run you to the ground. You have enough issues. Besides, my wife would not be happy with me if I did that. I could honestly give a rat's ass about you or the Pacers. I used to like Indy because of their ABA ties but you ruined all that for myself and others on this board.
I have no issue problems...what you see on here isn't what you'll see in person...as I told you, we left egos at the door that night and we all had FUN. If you can do that...then come on down.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 03:02 AM
I can be hospitable as much as the next person. I just would rather spend my time doing other things.
That's cool...would've been nice to have run into you and talked ball....but hey, you don't want to, you dont want to. I haven't ruined anyone who liked the Pacers...
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 03:09 AM
actually....you have. Myself and SW were talking about it and we both used to like Indy.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 03:15 AM
We were saying the same thing.
I watch Spurs games and it doesn't bother me, nor does it "ruin" it...I have an open mind. It's sad that you can't just go and hang out without having issues about it.
SAmikeyp
05-19-2004, 03:22 AM
ok....I will type slowly for you. I do not have issues about going to a GTG. It's not about having an open mind, its about having other plans.
