Now correct me or I've been living under a rock but, have the spurs gotten their trip to the white house? I mean, did they get their props from bush? This is not a big issue with me but the thought just popped in my mind..
anybody care to let me in on something I dont know?

Why the hell would we want our beloved Spurs to meet George W. Bush?

Here's Manu's response on his site a month ago:

Not anytime soon!! I've been there once... more than enough I guess.

I heard that it was scheduled in October but conflicted with a lot of players/staffs' plans so it was cancelled. That's just hearsay though.

Knowing that Bush is a Texan himself..Shame!!!

they've all been tp the whitehouse already.
it's no big deal.
you gotta fly all the way up there, go to thw whitehouse, take some pics, shake some hands, talk to bush for .5 seconds... take some more pics, say something qoutable and go home.
waste of time.
plus - most of our team isn't even american. :lol

The players are worried that if they go they might be sent to Iraq.

Tony would never get past the Secret Service with that accent. And I know he's not a terrorist, but let's see you get a guy named Nazr Muhammed through a DC airport.

I'd be willing to bet that Nazr, along with the myriad of other players in the NBA (and boxers, football players, baseball players, yada yada yada) with Muslim surnames, have been through the DC airport a few times without problems.
