Samaki.

That might just be the end of him...

John Thomas??

Coulda sworn someone said he was Rodman with offense....

Mateen Cleaves got waived from the Sonics Wednesday.

Also Houston waived John Lucas III and Josh Davis on Wednesday, less than a week after signing them.

Sean Banks.

Wasn't that the Warrior's 2nd round pick?

I wonder if Tulsa will just keep Banks now that he's a free agent. He was starting to put together a nice string of games. If we want a Stephen Jackson headcase project, this is it.

I would like to see Miles in our next summer league. Good system guy.

Please, please no one ask for Samaki to return to the Spurs!

He was getting DNP's in Indiana even though their entire front line is out.

It appeared that Rick Carlisle would have rather taken a volunteer out of the stands than put Samaki in a game.

Id rather have Marcus Fizer than Walker.

At least Fizer will play to his abilities.

Walker could've been a hell of a player.

million dollar player, ten cent head.

Someone needs to pick up Bracey Wright. He is averaging over 20 ppg in the D-league and could be a very quality shooter for somebody. He is undersized as a 6'3" SG, but if he is in the right situations, then he could fill it up.

Wright is already under contract with the Timberwolves.

I wonder if Brandon Hunter will get called up. He had a tryout with the Rockets and it didn't go well. I think he's too short to play PF in the NBA, but he's doing awesome in the CBA.

Interesting about the Rockets - they really seem to be trying out all the undersized PFs out there. I thought they might start looking for post scoring since Yao is out.

Don't the Spurs still have a few spots open?

And is there anyone out there worth the salary cap money?

Don't the Spurs still have a few spots open?Yes.
And is there anyone out there worth the salary cap money? That's the big question. It sounds like they have continued to work out players since the beginning of the season, but no one's been good enough to get a contract -- either that or Holt doesn't want to spend any more money than he has to. My gut feeling is the Spurs would sign some young guys to 10-days if injuries warrant it, otherwise they will look to add one last vet after the trade deadline a la GRob. There could be some interesting names waived after the deadline.

Samaki Walker, Samaki Walker, Samaki Walker!

I'm starting the Samaki Walker bandwagon so we won't have to hear about how Holtcat is too cheap to hire end of the bench players.

This is going to be a really nice bandwagon with lots of leg room and space in general :lol

Why should we be looking for 10 contracts and bench filler? Ever since we traded away the cornerstone of our franchise - Malik Rose, we've never really found anyone to fill that void.

:rolleyes

Houston Rockets re-signed guard John Lucas to a 10-day contract.

Does it matter? You don't seem to think it matters with Artest.

John Lucas hit a 3G to tie the game and go to OT.

Luther Head hit another 3G to go to 2nd OT.

Rockets getting return from cheapo rookies, but lost the game.

I guess his NBA workouts haven't gone well at all, because Hunter accepted a contract in Greece today and left the CBA.
