noticias.info/ LAS GRUTAS (National Team) - Argentina star Emanuel Ginobili is to fund the construction of a multi-million pound tourist complex in his homeland.

The Bahia Blanca-born San Antonio Spurs guard wants to give something back to his country by building the £10.3million site in the city of Las Grutas.

Las Grutas is the second most important tourist location in the Argentinian province Rio Negro.

City council official Adrian Casadei expressed delight at Las Grutas being given such a generous gift.

"Receiving such a present from one of the most important Argentinian people in the world is great for us," he said.

"We think this project will be finished in three years, more or less," he added.

The complex is expected to contain four buildings with 210 apartments and will have swimming pools, dressing-rooms, offices, restaurants, bars, courts and pitches where holidaymakers can practice different sports.

Manu already denied this (partially) in his site (http://manuginobili.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24282&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=22). According to him it's a long term investment, and he's not putting that kind of money in it.
