There are a handful.

I Will Be Here by Steven Curtis Chapman always makes me cry, and moreso now, since it was our first dance song, right after my family's toasts which made me cry.

What a Good Boy by Barenaked Ladies

On the other side of the scale - Standing Outside the Fire by Garth Brooks makes me grin and feel good.

Most of Jim Croce's songs and the version of "Somewhere over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. It's the one they played on ER when Dr. Green died. It gets me every time. In fact I have it playing in the background right now.
Oh yeah..I absolutely love Ave Maria by Celine Dion even though she personally really gets on my nerves.

"Lullaby Requiem" by Neil Finn is just a heartbreaker of a song written after the passing of his mother.

"Big Bird" -- Eddie Floyd's tribute to Otis Redding after his death in a plane crash, written by Floyd while he was waiting to board a flight to the funeral.

"Cristo Redentor" -- Written by Duke Pearson, inspired by the statue of Jesus over Rio de Janeiro he saw flying into the city. Performed by trumpeter Donald Byrd and a gospel chior singing a wordless melody. Goosebumps.

"The Unfaithful Servant" by the Band. As literal or allegorical as you like -- great performance all around, instrumental and vocal.

I also have a very strong emotional attatchment to Peter Cetera's Glory of Love because of it's presence in Karate Kid II. Daniel-san risked his life to save Kumiko, the attractive Okinawan that amazingly spoke great English. Who didn't cry when he fought Chozen to near death and came out victorious?

"Tonight I Wanna Cry" -Keith Urban

I went to go see him in concert yesterday and we wanted him to play that song so badly, but he didn't. He played another one though that I had totally forgotten about. But it was one that definitely moved me emotionally, I used to play it all the time after my breakup. It also reminded me of current things.
"You'll think of me" -Keith Urban
I actually ran into my ex last night cause he was there to see him too. (Its the only country artist he liked cause I introduced him to his music) Of ALL the space on the rodeo grounds we had to meet in the same spot :lol Its funny how that happens.
But thats a great song, as well as tonight I wanna cry. I hope to see him in concert again, the guy is awesome.

"I went out driving trying to clear my head
I tried to sweep out all the ruins that my emotions left
I guess I'm feeling just a little tired of this
And all the baggage that seems to still exist
It seems the only blessing I have left to my name
Is not knowing what we could have been
What we should have been
So

Take your records, take your freedom
Take your memories I don't need'em
Take your space and take your reasons
But you'll think of me
And take your cat and leave my sweater
'Cause we have nothing left to weather
In fact I'll feel a whole lot better
But you'll think of me

Someday I'm gonna run across your mind
Don't worry, I'll be fine
I'm gonna be alright
While you're sleeping with your pride
Wishing I could hold you tight
I'll be over you
And on with my life"

I feel you. Of all at the rodeo, I wanted to see him. I would have wanted to him to sing "Tonight I Wanna Cry" too. I've cried many times to that and "You'll Think of Me". I'm trying to get my bf into him but no luck yet.

When I first got the Be Here CD way back when, instantly after I heard "Tonight I Wanna Cry" I loved it...

Tim McGraw, "Just to See You Smile"

"Given the chance I'd lie again" is one of the best lines from a song I have ever heard.
