Vince Carter

On the game - “They are a good team, they play good team defense. With them it isn’t the first line of defense that you have to worry about, it’s the second line of players that make it tough. You just have to find ways to score and be effective.”

Compliment to the Spurs team defense......

Or

.....a slight to Bowen's on-ball D?

:lol That was definately a shot at Bowen. Subtle, but thats exactly what I thought when I read it.

TD blocked the crap out of him tonight. The block Tim and Bruce tag teamed him was the highlite of the night.

he is openly saying that bruce's defense sucks totally and both tim and rasho have to foul him in order not to let him score. (which mean their defense also sucks)

Fine, Bowen has a memory and remember that Finley was on him for some of the game.

Asking Carter about defense is like asking shaq how to shoot a jumper.

Obviously you didn't see him block Tony Parker's floater at the end of the quarter.

Carter is having a better year than manu.

Carter is having a better year than manu.

Did he incur the same injuries and play fewer minutes than the year before? Based on that of course Carter looks like he's having a better year. Balance health & minutes and we'll see.

How is that even pertinent to the discussion about Carter's quote???????

He was very happy when he made that quote after having an orgasm from Sequ's BJ

Disregard.

He is stupid. And there is no solution to his stupidity.

I think Carter is being honest. If you do get by the perimeter defense you still have to worry about Rasho or Tim blocking your shot. Carter is having a great year. I believe health is the main reason why. I haven't seen him throw down dunks like he has this year since his first couple of years in the league.

It's not a slight to Bowen. Bowen's so effective because not only is he a pest, but he can do that because he has that frontline behind him. That's why the Spurs defense has always been so good - if you get past the frontline, there's still about a 40% chance your shot is going to be blocked.

I don't think it's a slight to Bowen or the Spurs defense.

It really depends on what question was asked though. If the reporter commented that at times Carter could get around Bowen (or Finley) but was stopped by the second line of D, then this answer is very suitable.

I think if Carter wanted to complain or slight the Spurs, he'd just do it outright. He wouldn't lay down subtle hints. He has never bee subtle in the past.

he was joking around with duncan after the game.

Oh, Gee!!

Take a fucking compliment when one is given. Some of you people won't be satisfied unless every single NBA player and fan alike ballwashes every single Spurs player past or present.

Did anyone see the dominant block duncan had on carter in the 4th?

Carter is just a hater.

Any person with the slightest bit of basketball knowledge knows blocked shots does not make a good defender...

If he was traded to the Spurs, you would buy his jersey and go to the parade.

STFU hater.

No, I would be very worried about adding a player of obvious talent but character issues. This is the same player who did not put out an effort when things went South in Toronto, even though the fans worshipped him like a God.
I would be very happy to add a player like Carter if my favourite team sucked, but the Spurs does suck right now, they are playing pretty good.

Wow. One play. All defensive first team here we come. Even money you'll still be talking about that block a year from now.

I think you've got me confused with Tpark.

If he was traded to the Spurs I'd kiss any hope of a title goodbye, because when we'd need him most he'd either get hurt or puss out and go hide behind the dance team.

Is it true Bruce Bowen sleeps in his next opponent's jersey to get used to being in their jersey?

Is it true Sequ sleeps in Vince's?
