I think the skins might beat the Squaks, I mean if you look at the Skins D they have been playing lights out, and not only that .The skins had the 2nd toughest schedule in the NFL, while the Squaks had the easiest...I'm thinking they might get hosed.

Skins haven't been playing lights out. Their offense was completely inept on Sunday (albeit against a good defense) but the only two TDs they had were on a fumble return, and set up by a turnover at the ten.

When you put up 120 yards of total offense, no matter who you're playing, you're not playing lights out. They would've lost if they hadn't been playing an offense playing worse than theirs.

And 120 yards isn't going to cut it against a Seahawks offense.

The Redskins also benefitted from a couple of critical missed calls which led to points that they desperately needed to win the game. That's not likely to happen every week. That said, the teams are probably closer than many people think. It's a no-lose game for me. I'm sick of Redskins and Seahawk fans this year.

I'm sick of Bronco fans every year.

Tampa D>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Seahawks

NFL Defensive ranks 2006: (advantage in bold)

Seattle Seahawks 16.9 ppg
Tampa Bay Bucs 17.1 ppg

Seattle Seahawks 316.8 pass ypg
Tampa Bay Bucs 277.8 pass ypg

Seattle Seahawks 94.4 rush ypg
Tampa Bay Bucs 94.7 rush ypg

Seattle Seahawks 17 int
Tampa Bay Bucs 16 int

Seattle Seahawks 3 def TD
Tampa Bay Bucs 3 def TD

Seattle Seahawks 97 passes defended
Tampa Bay Bucs 81 passes defended

Seattle Seahawks 50 sacks
Tampa Bay Bucs 36 sacks

Come again, Jim? The teams look pretty similar, and in the advantages, albeit slight ones, they lean towards Seattle.

And so you don't use strength of schedule as an argument, they're separated by two percentage points.

Seattle Seahawks .430 strength of schedule
Tampa Bay Bucs .449 strength of schedule

Their schedule is worse than Tampa's because the 14-2 Indy(which inflates their schedule strength) team was not the Indy team because Indy did not even try to win.

Look at this schedule.

They played the most of the worst teams in the league.

Tampa Bay Bucs 2006.

They had the Saints twice (#2 pick), Bills(#8), Minnesota (when they were horrible), Packers (#5), Lions (#9), Jets(#4), 49ers (#7 - but could be as high as #2) - and then Atlanta twice. So nine of their games were against teams picking in the top 15 picks of the draft - meaning they weren't that good.

The only teams in the playoffs that they played were the Pats, Bears, Panthers, and Redskins.

Not that Seattle had a tougher schedule - but to say their's was easier is laughable.

I said the Skins D has been playing lights out, look at who they played the Tampa bay bucs, from the nfc south, easily the toughest div in football, the nfc east is one of the tougher ones also, the nfc west is weaker then shit the only thing close to it is the nfc north, the Squaks are a good team, but if Alexander gets shut down it's over , their WR's arent' good enough, their QB isn't good enough.

I am going to post this message in the Seahawk's lockeroom. You will have no one to blame for the Redskins' loss but yourself.
