Does anyone care? Is Popovich going to wake up and adjust his lineup? I want changes after this ass-kicking and if that means unloading some dead weight (i.e Barry and/or Finley) then so be it but this team needs a wake up call.

I didn't go to the game - so I don't have the quotes and I didn't watch TV afterward.

Did anyone see what Pop said?

I'm sure he played the soft card and deflected all blame for his idiotic lineups.

The team obviously played like crap but this one's on Pop. The minute the starting five were announced, the game was over.

He said that after several examinations the weren't able to find rasho's balls and YES nazr is getting the malik treatment.

On Manu Ginobili - “He’s a competitor. He always plays full out. He’s very important to us. Once he gets back in shape, he’ll help us more.”

Doesn't sound like he is going to run out and change the lineup anytime soon

you get the malik treatment when you play like shit. and when you do get to play you come in and suck.

Pop's quote on Nazr after the game tonight when asked why he only played five minutes, "I just played the guys that I thought deserved to play."

Pop just plays the guys who he needs to trade and who aren't upcoming free agents.

If Pop only played the guys that deserved to play not very many of them should have been out there tonight.

Tony Parker

On the game - “We missed some open shots tonight and they were able to hit their open shots. It was one of those nights where things don’t go your way. They out rebounded us tonight and that was a huge difference in the game.”
On the Spurs’ run in the fourth quarter - “Manu (Ginobili) brings a lot of energy. He made some steals and changed the game for us during that run. We just weren’t able to pull it out at the end tonight.”

On the Detroit Pistons - “They played very well tonight. They worked hard and hit the boards. They got more rebounds than us and made more shots than us.”

Dude I know you don't speak english well but come on give The Pistons some credit.

i still don't know why manu didn't start the second half. it looked like parker summed it up well - They played very well tonight. They worked hard and hit the boards. They got more rebounds than us and made more shots than us.
how is that not giving the pistons credit?

Chickenshit answer, but about what I expected. :td

The spurs are still great. Look at their record with Manu out for 10 games. But I don't know what happend to them when they played the pistons. I just can't figure that out.
