...feel now that translated Ba'athist regime documents are starting to show there were THOUSANDS of terrorists, yep - al Qaeda too! - trained in Iraq in the years leading up to Operation Iraqi Freedom?

Youni, they don't care if you give them the name rosters of those that were
trained. As far as NBAdan and boutons and a few others are concerned they
will just stick their heads up their rear end a little further and keep shouting:
Bush did it for the oil.

you mean he didn't do it for the oil ? I thought it was strictly for the oil - NBADANrather told me so and boutons said the same- he also said that Bush blew up the WTC just to go after the oil and they told me the French are good and we should model our society after them and have Jaque Chirac become our president with a unified France/Russia/USA with Putin as head of State. - You mean all that stuff is not true ?
Does that mean those weapons were moved to Syria ?
How come all the conspiracy theories that those "genius" folk believe are only negative towards the Bush administration ?

Gezz, what is it with Republicans and documents. Everytime they need an out, it goes back to the documents.

Speaking of questionable documents, the U.S. government finally showed some of the evidence it says it has compiled against Jose Padilla
After the U.S. military invaded Afghanistan to oust its Taliban rulers, authorities found a locker full of applications to join al Qaeda's holy war overseas.
Among the alleged applicants: José Padilla, the former ''enemy combatant'' who once lived in Broward County.
A prosecutor produced the alleged document for the first time Thursday in Miami federal court, where Padilla pleaded not guilty to conspiracy charges that he was a recruit for a North American terrorist cell with South Florida links that aided Islamic jihad abroad.
<snip>
Pell said Padilla's July 24, 2000, application was authenticated by a ''cooperating government witness'' convicted in an unrelated case who had once filled out the same Arabic ''mujahadeen data form.'' She said Padilla's date of birth, Oct. 18, 1970, was on his application along with his adopted Muslim name, Abu Abdullah Al Mujahir.

I wonder if Padilla will take the "Alito excuse" and claim he doesn't remember any application?

I am sure Padilla will accept you defense fund donation, dan. I know you
must feel his pain. You really will if he has his way.

So are there or are there not weapons of mass destruction found in Iraq yet?

Yeah, they've been found...they just weren't clearly marked "STOCKPILES OF WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION." But, yeah, enough WMD's, precursors, components, and agents have been found to annihilate the city of Los Angeles.
What's your point?

Ofcourse not, Even if there were, Sadaam would be stupid to export them out of Iraq and into syria seeing how that would of helped him in his trial if he were to get captured,....oops! i did it again. I applied a conspiracy theory.

THOUSANDS!
And they all had plenty of yellow cake to eat.

THe only person who has debunked the yellow cake was the administration out of fear of public lashing in 03 after the Joe wilson Ny times debacle. Other than that, the british still stand by their intelligence and joe wilson's story has changed.
But then again, you're are way too non partisan that you missed the vital information.

The administration had fear of the public?
What a bunch of pussies.

Pretty much, THey pussed out that time, i think they've learned their lesson once their constituents demanded that they take a tougher stance.

So the administration is worried about public opinion?
Polls, even?
Wow, what an admission.

They too an extent, just like any politician is, is worried about public oppinion at times.
But they do not live and die by the pols. I guess you are finally shocked to find that there are no absolutes in this worlds. Let me guess, maybe you're the type conciously that doesn't ever take a shit and wears a halo and a stainless white robe.

Joe Wilson, oh you mean him and his bride who got outed. Like you know

What intelligence? The British documents these claims were based on were complete forgeries with connections ultimately to Italian intelligence sources.
Joe Wilson has never changed his story about the circumstances that led him and his wife to Niger. Not that it matters though, because the U.S. already knew the Niger-Yellow cake documents were fake, but Wilson refused to play along to get along just to start a war.
lets see what they found in the first 3 months.

Whoa whoa whoa, you have it all wrong. Joe wilson's investigation didn't conclude any different from what was already known. In fact Joe wilson didn't do any thorough investigation, the commitee found out that he was lying and that his Ny times article's sentiment was way different from his own investigation.

Not only that, he never made a "written" report of any type on his
investigation. His first "oral" statement support the administration. He
changed that later, but who could prove it. Yeah Wilson and his wife
are a real piece of work.
