WHO IS THE BOSS

Whether it was Dungy covering for p-man or not, he stated that he told p-man they were going fo it and the punt team was a bit too excited.

Explain to me the definition of choking - because everyone throws it out any time a team loses. I'd blame the defense for giving up two early TDs before I blamed Manning.

This is a TEAM game, so you can't call out one person.

Going For A Touchdown Instead Of Trying To Move The Ball Closer For The Field Goal Is Called Choking

Not Calling A Timeout With 1:21 Left On The Clock And Going For It On 4 Down And Getting Lucky The Steelers Turned The Ball Over Is Called Choking

NO you don't understand. You don't understand the concept of a team win or loss. You must have never played sports or something.

i know it is team game but brady and manning played like rookie quarterbacks

I find that very funny

I said it would be funny if colts went undeafted and lost the first playoff game and they did

colts d was not the reason they lost today
they lost because colts over thought on the offensive ball and blew it
in the 4 quarter they were just playing and they actually were moving thre ball
WHAT A CONCEPT

When you are getting pressured....as I said before it is a TEAM game.

When the Steelers blitzed from the edge, particularly late, it was on Manning to get rid of the ball and on his receivers to recognize the blitz and adjust -- unless you're suggesting that the offensive linemen should be able to pick up 2 and 3 guys each. If so, you've obviously never played offensive line.

Fuck no I didn't play offensive line. I was the running back/wide receiver which you would call the slot back.

Then you should know something about the back's responsibility to pick up blitzers off the edge.

Yeah, I already know all that stuff. I actually know how the offensive line works. I was just trying to make a point that a team wins or losses the game not one person.

By Ducks' definition, any player he doesn't like chokes whenever he says. If the team wins, he'll pull up stats. If he has good stats, he'll say the guy is selfish. Manning played great and came back. I'm not sure why this thread isn't directed at the kicker.

A smart QB throws to the hot receiver on a blitz. Peyton gets greedy and tries to make the big play.

And then blames his protection when he holds the ball too long in the face of the blitz.

I don't understand Peyton's criticism for his protection also because in making all of his changes at the line, Peyton surely has the power and ability to change protection schemes to address the blitzes that he can see -- and that his offensive linemen aren't able to see as well. If there's a problem with picking up the blitz, and the quarterback is making wholesale changes at the line, maybe the quarterback should take some of the blame for the protection problems.
