As of right now, Nazr has 0 votes to Rasho's 8. Color me surprised! If I had known this I might have voted for Nazr just so he is not the only Spur without a vote.

I choose Bruce, btw.

Bruce, since he left $15.2 million on the table from Portland to sign here for $700k in 2001.... and when he outplayed Kobe on both sides of the floor in game 2 of the 2003 series, the 3 and the block in game 7, the DPOY performance last season, etc.

Bruce

1. ditched Miami to sign with S.A. despite bigger offers from other teams.

2. opted out of his contract, became a free agent just to give the Spurs more cap to sign Manu then, re-signed at a much lower salary later.

3. for being a Kobe stopper & Allen & VC's bitch.

4. that 7-3 pointers, 2nd game of the semi-finals, 2003 playoffs. Awesome:wow.

5. Being such a community personality you can see his name in almost all activities sports or community services in San Antonio on Spurs.com.

6. for NOT missing a single game in almost 3 seasons now. knock on wood :angel.

7. for taking extra effort of upgrading his free throws which cost us game 1 of the 2003 WC finals vs the Mavs.

Go Spurs!

The question is "Who is your favorite Spur?" not "Who is the best Spur?". I don't see a problem with people voting for their countrymen, regardless if those players they voted for ar better than the rest of the options or not.

Besides, I would love to see who you would vote for if there was a so-so Aussie playing for the Spurs.

I went with Brent, mainly because of his off-court personality, and I have been a fan of his for a while now. Its hard to pass up bruce (for obvious reasons, and his off-court personality is pretty up their with brents), and horry - for well, the crotch grab shot ;) and finley, but i went with brent... even tho he is in teh dog house.
