It's the middle of January ... this is how it's supposed to be. You've just been spoiled with the last 546,105,621 months with no rain.

:lol

Yeah! Perfect weather to bury myself under a blanket on the couch and watch a Spurs game. :)

All I know is that whatever blew in with this front just knocked me on my ass. And I took Claritin AND Flonase this morning.

heck yeah! I love this weather! I've been waiting for this for months. This is what I wanted so desperately during the holidays. I hope it keeps up for the end of the month...It'd be perfect weather, and I'd be in the best mood :)
Time for some hot chocolate and Spurs game.

Will it be enough so we don't have to see those burn ban reminders

Vashner
01-16-2006, 09:51 PM
No not enough to end burn ban. That would need rain for a few days till stuff starts greening up a bit.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and it has rained here for about 29 straight days or some crazy shit like that! I'm gonna have to build me a canoe just to go to work.

How does anything survive in south Texas without rain?

Here in Arkansas we went for about two months without rain. Had several wildfires scaring people, but it eventually rained. Today and yesterday is the first time it's rained for 2 days since last April.

For someone to say all this weird weather (maybe not for Texas) has nothing to do with global warming and the fucking icecaps melting is just insane.

I gaurntee you any meterologist/climatologist worth a damn would say the same thing.

Everytime a bird takes a shit people want to blame it on global warming.

Oh, and on the burn ban reminders....

They are saying there is an arson ban in effect. Someone tell the dumbasses at Transguide that arson is always banned.

I thought the same thing when I saw the Transguide signs, Manny! :lol
Arson is a crime all the time. Do they really not know that "arson" and regular run of the mill "burning" are two different things? :drunk

The really weird thing is, when they first put that on the signs, it didn't say anything about "arson", just "Burn ban"...what made them change them?

MannyIsGod

Yeah, the arson thing was just added recently. It is pretty retarded!
