Now Memphis is 5 back with SA holding the tiebreaker in case there is a meltdown down the road. And the team is still in single digits for lossess ;)

Parker with 28 points on 12-13 shooting!!

Also, he was 4-4 from the free throw line.

My god, Fabricio, that was, god.

I saw some practice footage of the spurs and Fabi was hitting 3s like they were layups. Like AI would say, that's PRACTICE

Tony Parker 12-13 FG, 4-4 FT, 28 points 4 assists, 0 Turnovers

Of course this is the vbookie I decide to go against him and vote on TD :depressed

Now for the snoozer of the night--Shaq vs. Kobe. I rather watch Samson v. the Vampire Women. :(

This was a gmae, where they brought their C game for about 40% of the game, and still won by double digits.

I think they are STARTING to come around SLOOOOOWWWWLLLYYYYY.

They're still crappy on the boards though, Memphis got to many offensive boards that last quarter

58 PF, way short of the record 84 for both teams in a regulation game, but still WAY too many.

Horry For 3!

I actually think that this game -- along with the win in Dallas -- was a great win for the Spurs. They beat a good team on the road in an immediate revenge game, and did it with Duncan and the centers saddled with foul problems. Great effort by Parker.

The over-reliance on Parker's drives is somewhat troubling, given that Detroit proved that it can deny penetration and shut down the Spurs offense in so doing. Need to start developing some other offensive options, pronto.
