Old Ciro Rodriguez is coming back to mount a challenge against Henry Cuellar, his nemesis from two years ago. Some Democrats dismissed Cuellar as a DINO (Democrat in name only) acknowledging his close ties with then Governor Bush and appointment my now Governor Perry.

Well Henry didn't disappoint. One of the deciding votes on CAFTA, Cuellar has stood with the Republicans on many issues since being elected to Congress. This unreliable Democrat needs to be defeated and sent back to Laredo and likely a cushy job with International Bank of Commerce.

Whoever wins the primary has no Republican challenger, only a little know Libertarian so whoever wins the primary will win the seat.

I'll make a prediction here, Ciro will be back in Congress in '07.

Cuellar is the kind of Democrat that the party needs!!

There are many issues that I agree with republicans on and there shouldn't always be a "against" just because of party affiliation.

Damn right democats support the war on terrorism!!

Be your own man Henry!!

Being a democrat doesn't mean you have to be pro-choice, anti-military or anything else conservatives love to label democrats.

I like Henry.

I wouldn't bet my lunch money on Ciro. He lost once and can again, I think
he found someone who could call out the "long dead" like he "could". But we
shall see. Some rough stuff goes on in South Texas. Ever hear of Duval
county. Same stuff just different actors.

Ciro will win again only if they fix the 'dead-voter' and 'guest-voter' problems in Duvall county.

I hope Cuellar wins again.
