UNITED NATIONS, Jan 20 (Reuters) - No evidence has yet turned up of al Qaeda figures among the dead when a U.S. missile killed at least 18 people in a remote part of Pakistan, the South Asian nation's prime minister said on Friday.

"As of an hour ago, when I last checked with our relevant security agencies who are combing the area, they have not found any tangible evidence that a particular group or any individual was there,"Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said.

Both the government and the people of Pakistan have condemned the Jan. 13 attack but will continue to look for victims and investigate their identities, Aziz told a news conference after talks with U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

"We have been very active proponents and partners in the war against terror with the rest of the world, and we will continue to do so," he said during a U.S. visit that will take him to Washington next week.

As for the article, I still remember watching video of a guy stuffing his kid between the rubble of a house that was bombed in Iraq, then making sure cameras were watching before pulling the kid out and running off crying. The poor kid was covered in dust and looked dazed. I'm sure NBADan spun that into the utter destruction of an entire city filled with poor women, children and ethnic minorities that don't vote Republican so they were killed and their internal organs harvested by Halliburton to keep Dick Cheney alive long enough to seize total control of the United States of America and take away our most precious civil liberties, like the Constitutional right to late-term abortions on demand, the right to call for the defeat of American forces abroad while burning an American Flag and wearing a black Anarchist mask without being hassled by the pigs and the right to make friendly conversational phone calls to al-Qaeda agents in Saudi Arabia without fear of being monitored...
