In the spirit of "The Late Show with David Letterman," here are our Top 10 Reasons Why Jermaine O’Neal will be appearing Thursday night:
10. Sneak in a little more practice time at Madison Square Garden.

8. Perfect chance to toilet paper Kurt Thomas' house.
7. Give Paul Shafer a headband.
6. Wanted to see if Dave really wears throwback suits.
5. He’s got at least 10 reasons why the Pacers are going to win an NBA Championship.
4. Help Dave change some of those hard-to-reach light bulbs.
3. Explain that they really do play defense in the All-Star Game.
2. Grab a quick lunch at the Hello Deli and find out once and for all what’s up with that Rupert guy.
