Please sit Tim Duncan, PLEASE. Say what you will, too many three's, lack of support from the bench, injuries, this team goes only as far as Tim can carry them. He's hurt, sit him. Loose a few to win it all.

No. I'm sick of you pussies thinking that falling down to four or five in the WC standings is better than staying #1.

Sitting Tim is not guarantee that he will improve, but it IS a guarantee that the Spurs will lose their division and fall at least to four in the standings.

I would rather loose a few (PRE) Regular Season games, rather than loosing it all at some point during the playoffs. But you know what, Tim knows Tim best. If he's hurt, then he will be intelligent enough to sit himself. If he's good to go, then he's good to go. He needs to STOP the FUCKING HEAD GAMES.

:lmao What head games is he playing with you?

He has a nagging injury that will likely nag throughout the year, whether he rests or not.

A few games won't do any good. They said that he could sit for WEEKS and it could have no effect on his PF.

Stop the madness. Do we really need a new "sit Tim" thread after every loss?

Tim Duncan is getting owned every game.

Trade him for Garnett.

He is fucking up BIG TIME. Other than free throws (which ARE a big flaw of this), I rarely get upset with Tim. However, today he was absolutely HORRIBLE. The turnovers, careless passed, not going up strong, getting his shotd blocked, holding the ball WAY too long and allowing the defense to pack him in and of course, FUCKING free throws again.

This guy is not looking like his superstar self and it's hurting the team. He was bad against Miami, but Parker's performance was enough for the Spurs to overcome Duncan's poor play.

The way the Spurs are playing, Dallas and Phoneix have a pretty good chance getting ahead of the Spurs in the standings. We've already lost HCA in the Finals,(IF we get there). Dallas and maybe Phoenix are our only competition and judging by our current play they may get HCA on us as well.

I dont' care how people rave on the rodeo rode trip. The fact that they are playing bad now isn't going to change if the Spurs go ON THE ROAD against PO contenders.

Sometimes I think that some of the posters here won't be satisfied even if the Spurs win it all.

sit tim, lose 80% of the games, fall to 4th in the west, and be on the road damn near every series in the playoffs.

Sounds like a winning formula.

That attitude is what lost the Lakers that 4th ring in a row.

Why do you want to sit TD?

Is better starts him as C, and move Oberto to PF for a couples of games

Not as starters, but in the lasts games TD canīt play as PF as he can

With Td in this shape, with Nazr and Rasho in the field, we canīt to score more than 30 points a game in the paint of the big guys

Oberto can to score more than 10 points each game if he play 20 minutes

Dear lord, how many times does it have to be spelled out?

Sitting Tim doesn't heal the injury he has. You could sit him for three months and there is no guarantee it would heal. So you'd only be back where we are now, except worse in terms of playoff seeding. And additionally, you'd have to work him back into the rotation and set plays. Remember how rocky that was last year coming off the ankle injuries?

So given that you have NO GOOD REASON TO SIT HIM, you play him and let him and the rest of the team figure out how to adapt to this injury.

Some nights he's on, others he isn't. You can't rely on Tim, especially when you have this much talent. If they are going to shove their hands in their pockets like they did yesterday instead of stepping up and making key shots and not turning over the ball, then they deserve to lose. There is a TEAM that plays here. Timmy is critical to it, but the whole team has to get it together and sitting Timmy is not the answer.

(And if his awful play puts him in the tops for points in the paint and double-doubles and keeps us at the top in the west with a pretty outstanding record, then I'd hate to see what taking him out does).

Even Tim on a wheelchair is better than Rasho and Nazr combined.
