Bush says bin Laden means to hurt Americans
Reuters
Jan 25, 2006 — FORT MEADE, Maryland (Reuters) - President George W. Bush said on Wednesday he takes the threats from al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden seriously.
"I understand there are some in America who say 'well this can't be true, there aren't still people willing to attack.' All I would ask them to do is listen to the words of Osama bin Laden and take him seriously," Bush said at the National Security Agency.
"When he says he's going to hurt the American people again or try to, he means it. I take it seriously and the people of NSA take it seriously and most of the American people take it seriously as well," he added.
...
The terrorists will do everything they can to strike us. I am going to continue to do everything I can within my legal authority to stop them," Bush said.
ABC News (http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=1540717)
"So I don't know where he is. You know, I just don't spend that much time on him"
And, again, I don't know where he is. I -- I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him.

So, would that constitute a flip flop flip?

Last night, in just one of my dumbassed classes that I must take at Texas State, I was asked why we don't teach this WAR in the classrooms.
Does the idea that we have no idea why we went to war cross anyone's mind? Do we have a resolution? Has this war been analyzed and broken down for 20 years yet? Is there a winner? Does anyone over the age of six years of age think Dubb-Ya is cool?
I have to teach ya'lls kids how to pass a TAKS test coming up real soon. This war ain't being talked about at school. Why? We have a TAKS test to get ready for. Our principal will be fired if we don't hit the mark and we have been told to "teach for the test." If Admin is fired, so are we. So, if you want your kid to know what's up...please tell them. I cannot, not at school anyway. If this is a problem, please know that it's not my standing. It's the TEKS. I'd much rather tell your kids about what in the fuck caused our Troops to be abroad rather than 60 zillion ways to find out how X=4.
History is who we are. Elimate history and we shall repeat it.....until it kills us.

If Bush focuses on Bin Laden, you'll say too much time and money is being spent on one man. You'll say one man doesn't matter when there are hundreds of cells through out the world. You'll say Bush is using scare tactics.
If Bush doesn't mention Bin Laden you'll scream about why he is allowed to roam free when thousands of Americans died in NYC. You'll say you know someone, who knows someone that was within 100 miles of the WTC on September 11th, and they're outraged that Bin Laden hasn't been brought to justice.
You can dispute that claim if you want. You don't have to be honest with me, I visit this section of the board once a month. Maybe. But dude, atleast be honest with yourself.
Bush can't win. You know, except for the presidency. Twice.
Harrr.

I feel pretty sure that a huge reason why Bush won the last election was because the American public wasn't ready to accept how screwed up his decisions were in deciding to go to Iraq.
What's worse is when people still try and associate Bin Laden/Al Queda and the Iraq war.

Hmmm.....
I'm sure once you start focusing on politicizing the classrooms, it wont do diddly squat once you'll notice that our little darlings have started their own left wing protest groups in their elementary schools, while the japanese kids are starting their own science and math clubs at the elementary.
But let's not rush to judgement on the war, It is still very winnable, and having a succesful democratic revival in the middle east would be the greatest blow to Alqueda.

I'm sorry, but if you dont see the connection between Bin Ladens top deputy and IRaq, not to mention Al Zahawahiri, then go back to the club forum.
I gave legitmitate reasons why Bin Laden and Iraq war are tied. Even Cindy Sheehan would admit that now there's a connection between OBL and Iraq.
IF fuckin losers like SA210 and Dike Metroit can't grasp a simple concept, then i feel sorry for all of liberal humanity.

The links between Ba'athist Iraq and al Qaeda have long been established. There is no sense in continuing to argue with those who refuse to see this simply because it would undermine their hatred of all things George W. Bush.
Now, it's becoming more evident that Iraq evacuated its WMD assets to Syria on 24-26 flights disguised as humanitarian relief, ostensibly in support of an area recently flooded by a busted dam. Of course, I doubt the Bush-haters will ever admit they were wrong about this either.
The Bush Lied crowd continues to dwindle.

Yeah we can all link Bush and his ties to the bin laden family all whole host of recognized terrorists....what does that say, nothing. Of course 2+ years of a wasteful war is starting to up route "links" but at the time of the war there was none so they fabricated them.

Are you a fuckin moron!
What does bin laden's family being the 300 members it is have anything to do with OBL's ambitions. So what!
They are individual people with their own agenda's. Grow a fuckin brain and stop circle jerking to farenheit 911.

What links? Established were?
The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Report? (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5403731/from/RL.3/)
(U)Conclusion 93. The Central Intelligence Agency reasonably assessed that there were likely several instances of contacts between Iraq and al-Qaida throughout the 1990s, but that these contacts did not add up to an established formal relationship
