except for the rasual butler part

Your nuts.

Rasual is a NATURAL for this team.

Long, plays good D, very athletic, can drive to the bucket, can bag the three.

Reminds me of a more sane Stephen Jackson.

Pistons struggle to win at home and Spurs win a blowout on the road. Hopefully this is the beginning of a trend! :lol

Pistons were on a back to back, as were the spurs

but pistons got a gutsy win, where as SA"s win was good, i dont seem them winning the way detroit won tonight cuz they arent winning those type of games that can bring a team together. and when they RARELY do, like against miami, they absolutely blow out the next game bringing them back to square 1

Tim just kind of tentative in the 1st half. Is something wrong with him?

glad there will be a long rest for them Feb 3-7, no games. Plenty of time to recuperate.

I disagree. Tim came out firing with confidence and hit 3-3 in the first couple of minutes.

Is something wrong with him? Did you forget, milkyway? Plantar Faciitis, remember?

Spurs shoot 37%, and win (vs 31%).

When was the last time the Spurs, or anybody, won a game shooting 37% ?
Raps shot 37% tonight and lost by 16.

What an ugly, weird game. It's January, WGAF?

It's Pop vs. Scott. Why should it not be ugly?

no no we cant worry about the spurs till playoff time remember :rolleyes

Spurs largest lead in the game 26
Hornets largest lead in the game 0

Back to back wins where Spurs lead after Rasho wins the opening tip. Why complain?

All we can hope for is that Detroit somehow tires themselves out going for 70 by the time the Finals roll around and that the Spurs are clicking hard at that point.

Is Manu playing in the 3rd? CBS Sportsline.com says so...

That is really, really funny.

Butler does a Linda Rhonstadt on Marks, Blew By You.

Worth reading the whole thread for this one line...Classic!

"Pistons struggle to win at home"

Pistons have the same bulls-eye on their back as the Spurs, maybe even a bigger one, since they are playing like Champions while the Spurs aren't. So all teams are getting up to play their season game against the Pistons, negating any excuse the Spurs have for losing to sub-.500 teams 4 times.

Redd goes off on the Pistons, Pistons play tough and get the win.
Arenas or Mo Williams goes off on the Spurs, Spurs lose.

"and Spurs win a blowout on the road"

Spurs jump-shoot a horribly shitty 37% (10% under their season avg) against a lottery team that allows 45% FG%,

Spurs 3G-shoot a horribly shitty 31%
(5% under their season avg, and 10% under Pistons' 3G%),

Spurs get beat in the paint 26!!! - 34 as hobbled Tim manages nothing but jumpshots against no interior defense,

Spurs win only as payback against earlier loss to same lottery team.

Tim's hurting, Manu's out, it's January, WGAF? :)
