I can't say that this is my original. I heard it on the radio today.
The comment started with:
"If you are ever asked whether you come from a musical family, remember the Youngs.
Angus and Malcolm play for a reasonably-successful rock band
George was also in an Aussie band, but was more successful in management."
Then they came up with a trivia question...
"Most rock songs involving guitar are written in either A or E.
AC/DC's 'It's a Long Way to the Top' was written in B-flat. Why?"
The reason, it seems, is because they wanted the Bagpipe solo. And that is in B-flat.
Way to go, boys.
