Trips to the fridge or the toilet in the middle of the night have been made safer by an inventor who has created a pair of slippers with lights.
The slippers, created by American inventor Doug Vick, have powerful torches in the toes.

The 20-25ft beam of light only comes on in the dark when a foot is placed inside the slipper reports the Daily Express.

When the slippers are removed the light stays on thanks to a timer to allow the person to get back into bed.

Brightfeet will be sold in the UK costing £25.

Awesome! My cats will love them! Or, at least love chasing the light coming out of them like they do the laser pointer. :lol

It's an LED not a laser.

Those LED's are called "moonlights". Commonly used on Nano Reef aquariums nowdays.

Retrofit a bayonet to them and the problem will be solved.
