I was watching the travel channel one week when they were having "what's new in Vegas" week and they said that they are building like a couple of more hotels and casinos. One of them would be a Hooters Hotel and Casino. Now that's freakin tight!! I can't wait till that ones built!

No, what happened?

It's what all the high rollers do.

The Hooters casino is just a repackaged San Remo.

The cocktail waitresses at the Orleans have skimpier outfits.

Where are you staying this time Slomo?

:lol OK I've heard of those Palms parties, but the Maloof brothers won't allow you in wearing a Spurs cap - and I'm not taking mine off :flipoff:lol

I'm staying at the Imperial Palace (probably for the last time since Harrah's bought it and they are now figuring out what to do with it).

They are building like crazy over here. Interestingly quite a few new hotels without Casinos. The Boardwalk Casino is already being replaced by a new building (don't know which one though) and it's been only a few months since they tore it down.

The San Remo is already re-packaged and is displaying the Hooters logo - I believe the grand opening is next weekend (superbowl weekend right?)

Today I had the whole afternoon off so I finally hit the casinos:

Hard Rock --------- BlackJack: lost $100
Wynn-------------- BlackJack: won $25
Green Valley ranch - BlackJack: won $175
Imperial Palace------BlackJack: won $350 (in two separate seatings)
The Venetian------- SportsBook (Spurs-Wolves game): won $200 (win+over/under)
NewYork New York-- Megabucks Slots: won $45 but I spend them on lunch in ESPN Zone so I guess $0
================================================== ============
Today's gambling: +$650
That should buy me some nice Spurs tickets next time I'm in SA :)

I love this town

I also tried to play some poker but the tables a way too crowded over the weekend.

Well there are slots everywhere, but you're not allowed to take pictures in the Casinos http://spurstalk.com/forums/images/smilies/smiangel.gif

The Sluts hang out near the out-door club on the strip between the Imperial Palace and Ballys or at the Club in the Rio. Just a rumor.

I remember when I went they were still building that one. Our cab driver kept going on and on about it.
Those are some great pics. I regret never getting that pic I wanted in front of the Welcome To Las Vegas sign. I just have a few pics from that trip. You have me wanting to go back there now. Even tho its not my thing it was a great fun experience. I was in awe walking the strip at night.

I stayed at the Mirage and that was amazing... Too bad they don't have the Sigfried and Roy show there anymore...

They are building like crazy over here. Interestingly quite a few new hotels without Casinos.

They are having a Condo boom... I know there are 2 high-rise condo's opening right next to the Bellagio, and I think there is one down by Mandalay Bay. In-flight magazines are filled with almost as many ads for Vegas condo's as Miami condos these days.
