We took my oldest to PF Changs at La Cantera for his birthday (I'm now the proud owner of a teenager) and we were seated right next to David Robinson and family. People left him alone, which I thought was nice. Except for the one dude who was obviously taking pictures with his camera phone.

That is all.

You don't realize how tall he is until you're standing next to him.

Boy, could we have used him against the Pistons this year.

I wonder if all of us realize what a tremendous, athletically gifted player he was back during a time when the Spurs were nothing more than the present day T-Wolves.

What a waste it was to have this one superstar surrounded by a team of slightly above average to average (sans Sean Elliott) players.

I bet he could come in tommorrow, and average 14 pts, 10 rebs, and 2 blocks a game.

I'd take him today, in whatever shape he's in...over the 2 Centers we got now.

I saw him the weekend The Shops opened up, I've mentioned it here in another thread as well, he was quoted in the paper as saying he just came to check it out and that he wasn't a big shopper, next day he was there again which is when I saw him, and now he's eating there, sounds like he really is a big shopper and he loves The Shops, he needs to advertise for them or something.

Having said that, yes he appears almost freakishly gigantic when you stand next to him, that's coming from a five foot seven guy, and no he doesn't look old at all....

:tu

They deserve to be left alone, they're regular people, just regular people with amazing skills and great jobs. I remember seeing TP at Best Buy, all I said was, "Nice game last night".

I wish I'd see Rasho and Nazr out on the town, so I could say two words:

DUNK MOTHERF'ER!!!!!!!!!!!
